Seeking Construction Laborers for work in Muscatine, IA!

Construction laborers are needed to do physical labor in conjunction with installation of runway lighting and carpentry at an airport. Digging, running wire so being able to bend, be on your hands and knees and complete physical labor in the outside elements. Laborers with previous commercial concrete, electrical and/or carpentry experience of any level is encouraged to apply.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 40hrs week. Pay is $40.00 an hour.

• Adhere to Company Safety Standards, including the proper use of machinery and equipment.
• Load and unload materials.
• Follow instructions from crew leaders.
• Remove, fill, compact and prepare the terrain.
• Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using a variety of hand tools.
• Assist fellow crew members.
• Perform site clean-up and reload leftover materials after the job assignment is complete.
• Act as a spotter for vehicles as required.

• Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift to 50 lbs.
• Work under inclement weather conditions such as rain, heat, and
• At least six months of prior experience in the construction field.
• Ability to operate small machinery such as Bobcat, a plus.

• Clear and clean construction sites of debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment.

• Organize and maintain materials and tools in designated areas.
• Set up and maintain barriers, signs, and cones to ensure the safety of the site and pedestrians.
• Assist with marking and laying out construction areas according to project plans.
• Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License required
• Ability to perform physical labor and work in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Capable of lifting 50 to 100 lbs. regularly
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
