Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services in construction. We are currently seeking a Digital Manager for a project in the United States.
Position Details
- Estimated Duration : 72 months. Upon project completion, we aim to assign the employee to other projects to ensure continuity.
- Location: Sacramento, CA, USA. (100% on-site)
- Project : High-speed rail infrastructure design project.
- Schedule : 9 hours daily (including 1 hour for lunch).
We are looking for a Digital Manager with extensive experience in railway infrastructure design to lead digital delivery and coordination for a high-speed rail project in Sacramento, CA. The role involves managing a team of 15-20 professionals, ensuring compliance with BIM and digital engineering standards, and fostering collaboration across disciplines in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the digital design coordination process across all design disciplines involved in the project.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with BIM and digital engineering standards.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of 3D models and digital deliverables using Revit and other advanced design tools.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including designers, engineers, consultants, and contractors, to maintain design intent.
- Manage team workflows, deadlines, and quality assurance for all digital design outputs.
- Support the integration of digital tools into project planning and execution.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making in digital engineering methodologies and standards.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital design management within engineering and design consultancy environments.
- Proven experience in railway infrastructure design, preferably in high-speed rail projects.
- Expert-level knowledge of Bentley Package: Microstation, OpenRail, OpenRoads, and ProjectWise.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading teams of 15-20 people.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

- Active Security Clearance Required
- At least 8 years of configuration/development experience for complex, highly capable, integration technologies
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons, and risks) in a complex and varied customer environment, while providing thought leadership to customer sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems
- Maintain at least 2 ServiceNow mainline CIS certifications
- Maintain ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
- Act as a technical lead on any engagement
- Experience with architecting systems integrations and creating complex high level architecture diagrams
- Extensive experience with Integration Technologies (Web Services (REST/SOAP), middleware, LDAP, SSO, JDBC, Import Sets, Export Sets, IDR (instance data replication), Remote Tables, Remote Process, etc.) and working with SaaS technologies
- Understanding of AI Models, Deep Learning Models, and Large Language Models with a focus on Generative AI.
