We are seeking qualified applicants for the role of Automation Platform Technician supporting the operation of an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) system in University Park, Atlanta, GA . This position will be a part of a dynamic work team and report to the Automation & Robotics Center of Excellence team. The position will also work with a team that services all geographic regions across the country. We are expecting the roles to reside in the University Park, IL area. This is a non-exempt salaried position.
This role will require regional travel within the United States, approximately 15-25% of the time.
What You Will Do
- Complete regularly scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PMs) on time and per AGV Platform requirements.
- Provide corrective maintenance, including Root Cause Analysis.
- Effectively provide feedback/training to Operator Technicians as needed.
- Use tools and data to predict when maintenance is performed.
- Ensure Asset Strategies are being executed and provide feedback to the AGV Platform when changes are needed.
- Track issues/repairs and utilize the escalation process via SAP or similar tools.
- Work collaboratively with other internal resources to engage additional platform team members as needed.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience applying Basic PLC knowledge & troubleshooting.
- 2-year degree or higher with an Electronic or Mechanical Technology focus, OR electrical/mechanical maintenance or troubleshooting experience
- Experience applying basic electrical and mechanical principles, motors, drivers, belts, and bearings.
- Ability to work independently and reach out for resources as needed.
- Willingness to learn specific skills required to maintain and operate AGVs and supporting automation equipment.
- Ability to travel between 15-25% (domestic US)

Position Summary: Our Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance, electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and installation of various semiconductor fabrication machines.
Responsibilities:
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating and repair manuals.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to identify root cause problems and put corrective actions in place.
• Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance duties on production equipment.
• Complete and maintain required documentation for quality standards.
• Rebuild equipment and sub-assemblies as required.
• Perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
• Participate in Maintenance or cross-functional teams such as 5S+ and CIP.
• Take ownership of small projects and equipment assembly tasks
• Work with outside vendors as required
• Process chemical and gas handling
• Maintains critical spares and consumables inventory.
The job also requires performing other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Education: 2 Year Technical/Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semi-Conductor Manufacturing or a related discipline or equivalent military training / work experience.
Experience and/or Training:
• 2 years experience in a maintenance manufacturing position
• Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation
• Ability to define, initiate, manage, and execute on projects to improve tool function and metrics. The ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, prioritize tasks, and plan for maintenance is essential
• Fluency in English Language - written & verbal
Technology/Equipment: Competent with Windows OS interfaces, MS office suite.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to work 12 hours shifts
• Ability to work with and around chemicals
• Wear complete fab attire for an entire shift and meet all safety and cleanroom requirements
