Key Responsibilities:
+ Scenario-based Training: Role Players fulfill scenario-based training and will be required to take direction from instructors and coordinators, as well as read and understand each of the training exercises conducted for the benefit of students in training. The specific roles and responsibilities will be identified prior to the start of each course running and the requirements will be provided before each course/exercise. For each role player exercise, the role player will be provided written guidance (scripts) that includes but is not limited to a description of the role, scenarios, expected student outcome of the interaction, anticipated student questions, and expected role player answers. Length of exercise assignments range from 1 - 2 days

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a combination of formal education above the high school level and several years of work experience. An associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Must be able to speak English at an eighth-grade level or higher.
• Be capable of meeting the USSS security requirements of this solicitation and successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a customer service orientation, the ability to promote teamwork, and a focus on safety. Organization and attention to detail are key.
• Applicants must hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and prior driving experience. A driver safety skills test must be passed.

SUMMARY/SCOPE

This is a part time position and is contingent upon contract award.

The Role Player will participate in law enforcement personnel training programs by role playing various types of characters in different situations. These situations
include: security processing, vehicle stops, sobriety test, suspect/witness interviews, and any other general situations that law enforcement personnel would generally encounter in their daily line of duty. The hours will vary depending on the assigned role and will be between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Typically each role may last from 2-4 hours, however, some roles may last up to 8 hours, and may occasionally run till midnight when needed.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Portray character role assigned, interview with students/instructors regarding the role when needed, in certain controlled situations relative to the character role may be subject to physical searches by students/instructors of the same and opposite gender.

· Consistently remain in the assigned character role during work schedule.

· Replicate various training situations and meet the physical requirements of the assigned role to include: jumping, running, kneeling, standing bending, reaching, and etc.

· Support instructors/students, adjust performance based on instructors/students feedback to meet training
personnel needs.

· Adhere to company policies and guidelines; complies with all governmental security policies
and procedures on training site.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to portray assigned role in a safe and effective manner; demonstrate proper physical agility when needed, pay close attention to detail.

· Ability to memorize and remember details regarding assigned character role.

· Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

· Display professional, neat appearance, dress according to role assigned, maintain professional conduct at all times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

The Player Development Manager is responsible for execution of the relationship marketing strategy, primarily through outreach, acquisition, development, and retention efforts for varying market segments, including daily oversight of the Casino Host Team and in partnership with Marketing Department Leadership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manages the Casino Host Team initiatives by developing programs specifically geared toward VIP guests with trackable metrics.
* Develops and implements training programs for Casino Hosts that are specifically geared toward attracting and retaining VIP guests.
* Assigns both reoccurring and event-based communication tasks to the Casino Host Team.
* Completes performance evaluations, scheduling, training guidelines, and coaching programs for the Casino Host Team.
* Communicates with Marketing Management Team to provide post-event attendance analysis, host book updates and progress, and other reports as directed.
* Collaborates with Marketing Team on planning for all VIP events.
* Assists with arrangements for Casino Rewards Guest. This includes but is not limited to reservations, arrival times, off-site, and all other additional accommodations if required.
* Attends off property events to ensure flawless execution and superior guest service.

Job Summary: The Player Development Manager oversees the strategic growth and day-to-day operations of the Player Development department, including Executive Hosts, Hosts and the Players Club for Odawa Casino properties. This position is responsible for attracting new high-value players, maximizing guest retention and profitability, and leading a team focused on delivering personalized guest service. The Manager collaborates with marketing, operations, and executive leadership to create compelling promotions, track player performance, and enhance overall loyalty. This role may represent senior leadership and support broader casino operations as needed. This position will have access to confidential and proprietary information.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

* Has authority to hire, terminate, promote, demote, transfer, provide training opportunities, recommend merit increases, evaluate performance, create and adjust performance standards, create and/or delegate staff scheduling, invoke disciplinary action and provide for the fair and equitable treatment of all Team Members.
* Track and analyze player performance using Konami, Oracle, and loyalty data.
* Provide reports and feedback to the Director of Marketing.
* Monitor ROI of programs and adjust strategies based on trends.
* Develop and execute strategies to attract, retain, and grow top-tier players.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Five (5+) years in Player Development or Casino Marketing, with supervisory experience.
* Deep understanding of player reinvestment, loyalty programs, and host management.
* Proficient in CMS (e.g., Konami), Microsoft Office, and Oracle systems.
* Strong communication, leadership, and guest service skills.
* Must read, write and speak English fluently.
* Must have strong computer, math and analytical skills.
* Must be willing to occasionally travel locally and out of town.
* Must demonstrate a high level of scheduling flexibility consistent with the demands of the hospitality and gaming industry. This position requires availability for a variety of shifts, with a strong emphasis on weekends, holidays, and evening or swing shifts. As guest volume and business needs fluctuate, the ability to adapt to a non-traditional work schedule is essential to supporting a high-quality, consistent player experience.

* Must have the ability to be frequently exposed to heat, cold, noise and secondhand tobacco smoke.
