The **Project Manager** is accountable for the successful execution of large utility scale renewable power generation projects including solar PV, wind, and battery storage. Key responsibilities encompass construction safety, quality assurance, scheduling, contractor scope management, and budget oversight. This role involves ensuring contract compliance, and managing project closeout. The Project Manager will ensure adequate staffing, monitor construction progress, establish strategic goals, and closely track performance to achieve these objectives. The Project Manager will engage with field supervision and project engineering teams and provide training and guidance for continuous improvement and professional growth.
**Role Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure the timely execution of the project within the established schedule and budgetary constraints and in compliance with safety, reliability, technical quality and regulatory requirements
+ Proactively oversees the execution of project contracts including the thorough review and approval of change orders and invoices
+ Coordinate project expectations, workflows, and communications among various departments and stakeholders, both internal and external, to RWECE to ensure alignment with the project objectives, contracts, budgets and schedules
+ Conduct Quality Analysis/Quality Control for key deliverables associated with both managed projects and task, as well as those overseen by others
+ Identify, report, and manage project risks in collaboration with the relevant project stakeholders to develop effective mitigation plans
+ Select members of the project site team and provide clear direction to ensure the achievement of project goals and objectives
+ Maintain effective communication with senior management and all project teams, both internal and external to the company. Prepare and distribute progress status reports, as required
+ Ensure the highest standards of environmental health and safety on assigned renewable energy project(s)
**Job Requirements and Experiences:**
+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management related field of study from an accredited college or university
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience; Minimum 5 years of progressive project management experience
+ Experience in the power generation field is preferred
+ Construction field experience is preferred
+ Able to travel 25% to 50% of the time
+ Has a valid US driver's license
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage customer relationships

The **Senior Associate, Project Engineering and Execution** role will primarily be responsible for developing preliminary designs, evaluating new markets, and energy storage applications and use cases. The candidate will need a working knowledge of energy markets to ensure the optimal use case for projects in both front-of-the-meter and behind-the-meter applications. The candidate will be responsible for engineering activities, including project development support, project design, utility tariff review, energy use case model, development of single-line diagrams, site plans, and customer utility bill evaluation. This position plays a key role in the department through development activities across a number of projects, participation in industry working groups, customer discussions, and supporting local approvals for projects. Upon completion of development, the candidate will be responsible for developing engineering design packages for permitting. The candidate will be responsible for completing the work either directly or through internal or external resources.
**Role Responsibilities:**
+ Develop preliminary PV and BESS system use energy cases through customer bill evaluation, utility tariff and energy market evaluation (retail or wholesale)
+ Support the interconnection application submitted and managed by internal team through technical knowledge
+ Energy Storage equipment evaluation and selection
+ Energy storage system construction support and commissioning by field contractors
+ Ensure all design deliverables meet the internal engineering standards and pertinent codes
+ Coordinate external engineering resources as necessary and manage the task order and accounting process
+ Develop a specification for BESS system controls to ensure compliance with the energy use case model
+ Create a detailed Permit and Construction drawing package for the electrical portion of BESS projects
+ Review of Request for Proposals and support proposal development
+ Provide proposal input, including detailed technical project descriptions, legal risk and responsibility definitions, financial analysis, detailed supporting documentation of contractor quotes, simulation results, and cost and savings derivations
+ Coordinate and review the site plans with the internal or external engineering resources and interdisciplinary reviews to ensure compliance with other design considerations such as Civil and Structural Engineering, including items such as weight restrictions, geotechnical challenges, flood elevations, wetland setbacks, fire code and advisory to those disciplines of electrical or energy storage system issues
+ Train and develop junior engineers and design/drafting technicians on electrical systems design, technologies, codes, and contract document preparation
+ Review the design approach, methods, and equipment selection to ensure the best overall project design and customer goals are achieved
+ Support Development and Construction activities on site and perform on-site visits as necessary to support the project construction
+ Review Power Purchase Agreements and EPC agreements to ensure design compliance
+ Oversee various testing and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects

Essential Functions:
+ Identify new project outsourcing opportunities aligned with Actalent's Services' strategic client strategy
+ Utilize consultative selling techniques to drive market/customer share by increasing deal size and moving deals up the services/consulting value chain

Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:

+ Minimum 5 years of business development experience selling services (not product sales) with direct involvement in initiating, cultivating, and managing large customer accounts aligned to the industries listed above.
+ Proven industry expertise with established key account and customer relationship capital.
+ Proven success developing and solutioning Project Management outsourcing engagements including Full Project Lifecycle Management, Project Planning & Controls, Project Quality & Safety, Construction & Field Management, Outage & Turnaround Support, Architectural Modeling & Documentation, Procurement & Supply Chain
+ Experience driving revenue within EPC model (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and Project Management (Project Controls/Owner's Representation/Scheduling) required
+ Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive stakeholders and all levels of internal and external organizations
+ Experience and knowledge of engineering, utility, energy areas required
+ Ability to utilize sales/CRM systems with strong documentation and organizational skills. Prior experience utilizing Salesforce preferred

Job Description
The Construction Project Manager supports the Engineer Procure Construct Project Manager or Program Manager to oversee day-to-day operations from pre-construction through project completion and warranty periods. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing the construction project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, proposals, estimates, documentation turnover, client relations/management, field staff and other duties required to execute Construction Management, Construction, and Program Management projects.
+ Adhere to company's safety programs, trainings, and policies, as well as promote and manage the Safety & Health performance of project team members and subcontractors.
+ Responsible for the oversight of day-to-day construction activities and the successful execution of a single or multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Provide direction and participate in project planning, scheduling, estimating, cost development, and establishing critical project objectives.
+ Develop new and manage existing client relationships while interfacing with the client for proposal and project-related items.
+ Participate in internal and external project risk reviews and consult with the legal department as required.
+ Negotiate prime contracts, CM contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
+ Participate in the risk review process.
+ Implement assigned sections of the Project Execution Plan, including construction execution, Construction Quality Assurance Plan, Safety & Health Plan, Subcontracting Plan, Project Staffing Plan, organization chart, and Procurement Plan.
+ Develop construction staffing plans and train project teams, coordinate activities of multiple global practices/disciplines, and facilitate the efficient cost-effective utilization of staff while adhering to contractual and performance requirements.
+ Oversee the development of the project plan for site layout, mobilization and demobilization and support implementation.
+ Verify all applicable project permits are secured in accordance with the project requirements.
+ Direct and oversee the downstream Request for Proposal (RFP) and bid process and prepare detailed scope of work documents for subcontractor and client contractor contracts, including bidder development, prequalification, evaluation, award recommendation, and selection.
+ Review, approve, and communicate internal and external reports including project budgeting, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports.
+ Present reports to Project Manager, Program Manager as well as internal and external executive management as required.
+ Collaborate with the engineering team to establish the development and distribution of engineering deliverables per project schedule and requirements.
+ Develop processes and manage downstream contract administration including Request for Information (RFI's), submittals, change management, contract closeout, documentation, and claims mitigation.
+ Oversee Prime Contract, subcontractor, and client contractor invoicing process.
+ Coordinate and facilitate client, supplier and company commissioning and startup teams as needed.
+ Implement, audit, and oversee project documentation.
+ Implement process for confirming project and subcontractor insurance, taxes/duties, licensures, and bonding requirements.
+ Perform project safety, quality, progress and financial audits and assessments as required.
+ Oversee and participate in the project-specific non-conformance reporting process.
+ Responsible for facilitating project cost reporting, scheduling, work breakdown structure establishment, project set-up and closeout, and field progress tracking specific to construction and construction-related activities or program-level activities as required.
+ Develop and oversee materials receiving and management process, including inventory control, receipt of goods, storage, and transportation as required.
+ Review contract documents with field staff to verify compliance of subcontractors and client contractors, safety and health requirements, quality, and schedule.
+ Direct the project turnover documentation, warranty administration, project closeout, and recordkeeping/retention processes and procedures.
+ Support communication with governmental, industry, and public entities on project-related matters.
+ Review construction field reports.
+ Provide mentorship and training to interns, construction coordinators, craft supervision, and assistant construction project managers.
+ Provide performance feedback for each project team member as requested to their respective department managers.
+ Manage community and building trades relationships.
+ Develop and implement project labor agreements with building trades as required.
+ Onboard craft/field supervision as required.
+ Manage composite crew rates to determine labor and equipment costs.
+ Manage staffing on projects.
+ Manage labor burdens including craft classifications, benefits and labor laws.
+ Maintain accurate craft classifications and craft progression records.
+ Uphold craft competency and training standards.
+ Estimate, forecast and manage craft install unit rates.
+ Manage earned value, schedule, change management and cost metrics.
+ Mentor and foster craft training and identify advancement opportunities.
+ Manage construction equipment to ensure adequate inventory to complete projects.
+ May be assigned to a project site based on project requirements.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, and 7 years relevant project management experience in the construction industry required.
+ Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
+ Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
+ Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
+ Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
+ Multiple years of experience on construction project sites or executing program management in the industries of aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transportation, transmission & distribution, or water is preferred.
+ A basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is required.
+ Must be able to meet the company's driving requirements.
**Compensation**

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
