As a Senior NEPA Specialist at Kimley-Horn, you will play a key role in leading environmental assessments and impact studies for a wide range of transit, roadway, and infrastructure projects. **Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead NEPA compliance for major infrastructure projects, focusing on transit, roadways, and urban development.
+ Develop and manage Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), Environmental Assessments (EA), and other required environmental documentation in accordance with NEPA and other relevant regulations.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are aligned with environmental, regulatory, and community needs.
+ Prepare, review, and finalize NEPA documents, making sure all processes are completed accurately and on time.
+ Serve as the subject matter expert on environmental regulations, including NEPA, Section 4(f), Section 106, Endangered Species Act, and other related laws.
+ Engage clients and stakeholders, communicating project goals and environmental findings clearly and effectively.
+ Work on projects of varying scale, from large-scale transit systems to small infrastructure upgrades, ensuring each is compliant and sustainable.

**Desired Skills & Experience**
+ 10+ years of NEPA experience, including working on transit, transportation, and infrastructure projects.
+ In-depth understanding of NEPA regulations and the ability to manage all aspects of the NEPA process.
+ Strong knowledge of environmental regulations such as Section 106 (Historic Preservation), Section 4(f) (Parklands and Historic Sites), Endangered Species Act, and Clean Water Act.
+ Proven track record of leading environmental impact assessments for transit and infrastructure projects in the public and private sectors.

**Qualifications**
+ 12+ years of experience managing environmental projects in the local area with a demonstrated ability to manage those projects profitably
+ Bachelors Degree or higher in city or regional planning or related
+ Strong experience with CEQA/NEPA in the state
+ Client contacts and relationships with local municipalities, county, regional and state agencies
+ Provide high quality deliverables with exceptional client service

CDM Smith currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with extensive previous experience managing environmental management and/or planning projects to join and help lead our growing West Transportation Group. In this position, you will play a significant role in the management of complex environmental reviews and compliance related projects for major transportation agencies in the Western United States. You will manage multi-disciplined project teams, develop more junior staff, prepare and manage the scope and budget for transportation projects, and assist with marketing and business development activities.
As a member of this team, you will contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
- Managing transportation related environmental compliance and planning projects, which may include overseeing: preparation of SEPA and/or NEPA documents; performance of specialized environmental studies; performance of environmental due diligence, assessments, investigations, and remedial activities; and evaluation of environmental permitting and compliance.
- Overseeing and participating in project teams to performs technical calculations, modeling, data analysis, designs, and on-site field evaluations.
- Providing an understanding of local, State, and national environmental regulations.

- Preparing detailed statements of work with associated work breakdown structures and gains concurrence and approval from internal and external stakeholders regarding various project aspects.

Responsibilities
Noblis MSD is seeking an experienced Navy, depot level surface ship maintenance and modernization **Project Management Expert** to support the Commander, Naval Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC) in the **World Class Planning** (WCP) effort to improve advanced planning and planning, execution, and close out oversight of Naval Surface Ship CNO availabilities.
The candidate will provide subject matter expertise in benchmarking from both industry and government perspectives, and in integrating the efforts into a plan that leverages SCORE (AI, ML, NLP) to improve maintenance and modernization throughout the US Navy. The candidate will be supporting CNRMC, C300 and will be required to travel to the Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs).
General responsibilities and tasking include:
+ Support CNRMC in the World Class Planning (WCP) and SCORE - MA improvement initiative
+ Provide oversight to assigned RMC Project Team members, particularly the Project Manager/Superintendent in executing WCP activities
+ Provide input into WCP process improvement for out-of-service (OOS) surface ship availabilities in alignment with CNRMC goals and initiatives
+ Act as CNRMC representative and provide oversight to the RMC Project Team as they develop initial critical and controlling path schedules, identify long lead time material, identify funding and integrate modernization schedules in accordance with WCP goals
+ Provide support and expertise in delivering new products required by WCP such as the Government Preliminary Schedule (GPS) and the Challenge-in courses-of-action brief
