CDM Smith currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with extensive previous experience managing environmental management and/or planning projects to join and help lead our growing West Transportation Group. In this position, you will play a significant role in the management of complex environmental reviews and compliance related projects for major transportation agencies in the Western United States. You will manage multi-disciplined project teams, develop more junior staff, prepare and manage the scope and budget for transportation projects, and assist with marketing and business development activities.
As a member of this team, you will contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
- Managing transportation related environmental compliance and planning projects, which may include overseeing: preparation of SEPA and/or NEPA documents; performance of specialized environmental studies; performance of environmental due diligence, assessments, investigations, and remedial activities; and evaluation of environmental permitting and compliance.
- Overseeing and participating in project teams to performs technical calculations, modeling, data analysis, designs, and on-site field evaluations.
- Providing an understanding of local, State, and national environmental regulations.
- Creating project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects.
- Preparing detailed statements of work with associated work breakdown structures and gains concurrence and approval from internal and external stakeholders regarding various project aspects.
- Assessing potential project risk and outlines risk mitigation solutions.
- Ensuring adherence to company and project management policies, procedures and practices.
- Managing project costs and is responsible for ensuring profitability.
- Creating and reviewing timely client billings with internal billing support.
- Reviewing and approving subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and invoices.
- Performing ongoing review of project status and risks and identifying and implementing risk mitigation solutions.
- Managing project change, using change management protocols, and determining appropriate changes or alternate paths based upon performance and metrics.
- Planning and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and application of standards, procedures, and criteria.
- Managing and coordinating proper staffing within the project including identification of outside resources needed (subs/vendors) and ensures procurement processes are followed.
- Coaching more junior staff and providing feedback to staff and their supervisors on project performance.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ensuring client satisfaction by delivering quality, on-time project outcomes as a result of good planning and organizational skills.
- Collaborating with sales and marketing staff to meet with clients and develop proposals in response to requests for proposals.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 10 years of related experience. PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Environmental management and/or planning experience for public clients in the state of Washington. Experience working with Transit agencies is preferred
- PE or equivalent professional certification
- Knowledge of SEPA and NEPA processes and requirements is desirable
- Experience working with project management methodology including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project management software and finance and accounting concepts and practices.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented **Workforce Planning Data Project Manager** to lead the development and implementation of workforce planning capabilities at **our client** . This role is ideal for either a data-savvy project manager or an analyst with strong organizational and coordination skills. **Responsibilities:**
+ **Strategic Workforce Planning**
+ Design and execute workforce planning frameworks that align talent supply with business demand.
+ Forecast staffing needs using historical data, predictive analytics, and business growth models.

**Experience Requirements:**

+ Directly manage special handling of accounts payable (A/P) checks and ensure all documentation and attachments are correct prior to vendor processing
+ Track courier deliveries for check files and maintain daily records for accountability
+ Monitor incoming emails and distribution lists for all print and mail requests, addressing issues promptly
