    • Responsible for scheduling departmental training and communicating the schedule on a monthly basis to the department's Training Manager;

**The opportunity**
Delaware North Gaming is searching for a part-time Cook to join our team at Orange City Poker Room in Orange City, Florida. As a Cook, you will partake in important food preparation for guest orders and communicate with serving team members. **What will you do?**
+ Follow supervisor's assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products for guests by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines
+ Set up, operate and clean kitchen equipment, according to correct procedures as well as keeping workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
+ Work cooperatively with team members and management
+ Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures
**More about you**
+ Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
+ Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
+ Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions
+ Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
+ No experience or diploma required
**Physical requirements**
+ Must be able to lift 20 lbs or more
+ Ability to stand for long periods while also bending, lifting, and reaching
+ Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
+ Exposed to variable temperatures

**What will you do?**
+ Lead and supervise the team, providing planning and scheduling of work assignments, and performance development
+ Participate in the selection and training of new team members, working to ensure they are knowledgeable of laws and procedures
+ Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues
+ Assist in the preparation of daily and weekly reports
+ Monitor inventory supplies for cage operations
+ Maintain an accurate cash bank and balance money at the end of each shift; investigate all variances and report when applicable
+ Monitor the ticket redemption machines and schedule maintenance as needed
+ Maintain the supervisor bank transactions daily when necessary
**More about you**
+ Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
+ Must be able to handle large money transactions accurately and reconcile the vault
+ Superior communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead in a results-oriented, high-volume environment are required
+ Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office are required
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license
+ No college degree required
**Physical requirements**
+ Ability to lift 30 lbs occasionally
+ Must be able to bend and lift occasionally, stand for long periods
+ Gaming environment, the environment may be smoky with moderate-to-high noise levels

**More about you**
+ Must be 21 years of age or older
+ No high school diploma or GED required
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license
+ Minimum of 1-2 years of professional poker dealing experience in a similar setting required
+ Demonstrate the standard level of skills, knowledge, and performance in the various types of poker games offered
**Physical requirements**
+ Sitting, reaching, and pulling a majority of the shift
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
