**Role Overview:**
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and results-driven Associate Director - Digital Policy Management to lead the RTX Digital Policy Management function. This role is critical in ensuring the security, integrity, and resilience of RTX's digital assets and information systems.
The Associate Director - Digital Policy Management reports to the Director - Digital Governance and will be responsible for managing and effectively communicating digital policies, standards and guidelines across Enterprise Services, Pratt Whitney, Collins Aerospace and Raytheon to ensure consistent and effective implementation of digital controls in compliance with federal, state, industry, and international laws and regulations.
The role will require a deep understanding of digital policy management and governance, the ability to lead through transformation, and successful partnership with key Enterprise functions, Internal Audit and RTX business units.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Lead development of long-term digital policy management strategy on behalf of the Director - Digital Governance, develop and execute mid- and short-term strategies in support of demonstrating compliance for global Defense, Commercial, and international business pursuits for RTX, Pratt Whitney, Collins Aerospace and Raytheon.
+ Establish operational plans, standards and goals in support of the RTX global business strategy to meet commitments to customer requirements and Federal and international regulations.
+ Lead geographically distributed team of digital policy management professionals who manage digital policies, standards and guidelines with responsibility for talent acquisition, retention, employee career and development in collaboration with HR partners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation while inspiring to embrace RTX's core values
+ Design, implement, and maintain an effective and efficient digital policy management lifecycle that aligns with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements to cover all unclassified domains, acquisitions, subsidiaries, and product lines of business.
+ Define and maintain all RTX digital policies, technical standards, and work processes that ensure compliance with all required federal, state, industry and international laws and regulations though its directives.
+ Regularly review and update existing policies, standards and guidelines, and maintain inventory of digital policies, standards and guidelines up-to-date
+ Monitor changes in regulatory landscape, perform impact assessment and proactively drive policy changes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
+ Define, implement and maintain an effective digital policy exception process
+ Define and maintain digital policy awareness and training material for training of RTX employees and contractors on new policies, standards and procedures or significant changes, and conduct communication campaigns to effectively communicate changes
+ Define, implement, operate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) metrics related to Digital Policy Management services.
+ Report key risk and performance indicators and provide regular status updates to Director - Digital Governance
+ Partner with functions and businesses to drive the development and implementation of risk-based policies and controls to safeguard digital assets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
+ Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in digital governance.
+ Travel up to 25%
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ University Degree in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
+ Prior relevant work experience must include Information Technology, digital policy management, digital governance, cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Preferably 3+ years of experience in a top-tier risk advisory or management consulting firm or Financial Services
+ Strong understanding of digital governance frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST800-171, NIST800-53, ISO 27001, CoBIT).
+ Broad and substantive knowledge of industry, global laws and regulations governing businesses, or recognized outside the organization
+ Proven track record of successfully managing digital policies in large, complex organizations, preferably within the Aerospace and Defense or Financial Services industries
+ Ability to communicate with all levels of management verbally and written, facilitate effective meetings, build effective working relationships and partnerships, and strong interpersonal skills
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
+ Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar are desirable
+ Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products with experience in preparing presentations and presenting to executive leadership
+ General knowledge of IT, Artificial Intelligence, and cybersecurity with experience in the following areas: incident response, business continuity/ disaster recovery, vulnerability management, application security, database security, network security, identity & access management, OT security, cloud security, third-party & supply chain risk management
+ General knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity (e.g., DFARS, FAR, ITAR, EAR)

**Remote:** This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
