We continue to grow and are seeking a solution-oriented and customer-focused Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible to provide excellent on-site pool cleaning and pool maintenance services to each and every customer they are assigned. This includes following our proven pool cleaning methods, handling pool chemicals in a controlled and safe manner, following all established protocols and sharing lessons learned with the rest of our team.
The ideal person for this position will love to work outdoors. They will be a self starter who has the ability to work independently with minimal oversight and guidance. They will handle all matters with integrity and embrace the concept and requirements of delivering "resort-quality service".
Responsibilities:
Success in this position will be determined by the following measurable results:
- Manage a swimming pool route that includes the cleaning of swimming pools each week.
- The ability to manage a stocking of chemicals on the truck and properly adjust the water chemistry for each pool each week.
- The ability to utilize a smart phone for our Pool Ops mobile platform.
- The ability to spot equipment repair needs and communicate those needs to the office.

Requirements:
Requirements for this position are that you have:

No other specific experience is required as we will teach you the ASP methods designed to give our customers a great looking pool and to maximize your earning potential; however, a high school degree and Certified Pool Operator License is preferred.
Bonus Potential:
This position has the potential of earning an annual bonus by the company when specific gross revenue goals are met for the year.

Responsibilities:- Discover and repair leaks or cracks in the pool area’s structure, plumbing, or pipes
- Keep record of all paperwork and services performed
- Clean swimming pools and filtration using certified pool equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, or replace faulty equipment
- Remove and install new underwater lights
- Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance for residential and commercial clients
- Monitor chemical levels and make adjustments to ensure safe water conditions
- Diagnose and repair equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems
- Identify and fix leaks, plumbing issues, and other structural concerns
- Communicate clearly with clients and provide guidance on best practices for care
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used
- Prior experience with pool chemicals, maintenance techniques and equipment, is strongly preferred
- Candidate must have high school diploma or GED
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and dexterity are required
- Valid driver’s license required

Key Responsibilities:
Planning, Customer Service, and Schedule Management
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling service routes, optimizing technician assignments, and monitoring service quality.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Responsible for utilizing management software to plan, monitor, and adjust project assignments as necessary.
- Maintain open lines of effective communication and provide the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Think systematically / educate / develop systems / train service technicians to ensure that work is performed properly and reliably.
Billing
- Review route and job completion tickets to check for any errors or omissions.
- Ensure billing reflects all products, services, and labor utilized to complete a job.
- Use deep understanding of pool services / equipment replacement to review job completion tickets / bills for items missed by technicians.
- Think systematically, educate, develop systems and train other service managers and service technicians to ensure that billing is performed properly and completely.
Budget and Resource Management
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Assist with material procurement and expediting deliveries, as needed.
- Assist with setting up and issuing documentation for pricing and change administration.
- Create cost estimates and budget breakdowns as needed.
- Assist with/audit account receivables, ensuring current pricing, and billing protocols are followed.
Training and Development
- Supervise, train, and mentor pool service technicians, ensuring adherence to company standards and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement staff training programs, including safety protocols and technical skills.
