The ideal candidate will be skilled in Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methodologies to drive efficiency, improve quality, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
· Help to identify and implement process improvements for our DCs to assist in driving customer value, reduce cost per case and increased cases per hour throughput within the network
· Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practices across DC network.
· Partner with all business partners to help support key initiatives as well as projects
· Collaborate with the team and help to drive data driven informed decision making
· Provide insight into re-profiling/slotting DCs to best suit productivity needs to increase CPH and decrease CPC
· Identify, lead, and support continuous improvement projects aligned with business goals using Lean, Six Sigma, and other OpEx methodologies.
· Conduct value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and other problem-solving activities to drive process improvements.
· Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
· Facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions to build OpEx capabilities across the organization.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, supply chain, and engineering.
· Monitor and report on project outcomes, savings, and ROI to stakeholders.
· Support a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence at all levels of the organization.
· Travel 50% or more depending on projects and business needs

The Supply Chain Planning Engineer in the Marine Product Group will support various facets of the value chain and order to delivery process to help ensure our marine customers get the products they need in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Lead the design and optimization of value chain and order-to-delivery processes for new marine product offerings, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
+ Support the development of Marine New Source Introduction (NSI) and Manufacturing Footprint strategy, aligning supply chain capabilities with long-term business growth.
+ Provide strategic Dealer S&OP support for both marine prime products and aftermarket, enhancing demand planning and inventory alignment.
+ Deliver Assurance of Supply solutions for marine territory sales managers and dealers, ensuring consistent availability of prime and aftermarket products.
+ Train and coach the marine commercial team on parts ordering and escalation protocols, serving as the primary escalation contact for the Marine Aftermarket Group.
+ Manage key account support activities, including order prioritization, pipeline visibility, and inventory management to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

**Position Summary**
The Demand Planner is responsible for creating and managing an 18-month rolling forecast using advanced statistical models, system tools, and cross-functional input. This role integrates insights from sales, marketing, finance, and the broader market to develop an unbiased, consensus-driven forecast. The ideal candidate is a data-driven professional with strong analytical skills who can confidently challenge assumptions and drive forecast accuracy across multiple planning levels.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop and maintain a statistically driven 18-month rolling forecast using demand planning software.
+ Facilitate a monthly forecasting cadence by gathering input from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Business Leadership.
+ Lead assigned Demand Review meetings within the S&OP cycle, presenting forecast changes and challenging variances in trend or historical performance.
+ Raise unresolved forecast discrepancies to Executive S&OP as needed.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert and internal advocate for demand planning and the S&OP process.
+ Track and report forecast accuracy, bias, and forecast evolution over time.
+ Analyze forecast errors and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and reduce variability.
+ Support annual and long-term planning cycles by providing demand outlooks.
+ Document standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and tools.
+ Partner with Supply Planning and Replenishment to align demand signals with inventory strategies and reduce constraints.
+ Participate in initiatives focused on supply chain optimization, data integrity, system enhancements, and process improvements.
+ Translate the consensus demand forecast into a rolling, forward-looking supply plan to ensure product availability and service level targets.
+ Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate supply gaps, capacity issues, and product shortages.
+ Partner with procurement, category management, warehousing, and logistics to resolve near-term issues and support long-term strategies.
+ Analyze and report supply KPIs; raise critical issues and develop action plans with the Supply Planning Manager and Director.
+ Contribute to seasonal and promotional planning and implement plans within assigned categories.
+ Develop, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, SQL, and other BI tools.
+ Participate in testing and implementation of supply chain planning systems and support ongoing system optimization.
**Preferred Qualifications & Experience**
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting roles.
+ At least 2 years of experience with S&OP, IBP, or related planning processes preferred.
