**JOB SUMMARY:**
This role is part of the Middle Office group, in Brentwood, TN, reporting to the Director, Middle Office, and is responsible for accurately reporting, monitoring, and analysis on the risks and volumes associated with physical and financial trading positions. The Middle Office is part of the Finance organization and independently monitors portfolio parameters within the Board-approved risk management policies and guidelines while also supporting the Commercial Organization's strategic goals and margin targets.
The Middle Office group is a primary user of Delek's ETRM (Energy Trading & Risk Management) which integrates the business processes, organizational accountabilities, reporting, and workflows associated with managing market exposure and commodity risk.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**

POSITION MISSION
The Portfolio Risk Manager will provide coverage for our traditional and alternative/hedge fund investment strategies and will be focused on identifying top investment themes and risks in our portfolios analyzing how they are expressed, sized and managed.
They will be responsible for risk oversight, monitoring the appropriateness of risk levels and exposures across the Research portfolios and helping investors use quantitative tools to inform their portfolio construction and investment processes. The Risk Manager should be sufficiently confident in their analyses to proactively challenge the thinking of investment teams directly and present areas of concern.
A successful Portfolio Risk Manager will leverage Cercanos risk modeling and analysis platform to enhance the risk-taking and portfolio construction efforts of the investment teams. An important part of the roles active engagement with investors includes helping them adopt best practices in the use of quantitative perspectives in portfolio management and helping the teams use technological tools directly, rather than relying upon risk managers to produce reports. It is therefore incumbent on the Risk Manager to continually enhance the risk platform itself to deliver against the evolving needs of our investors and our clients. S/he will also create or enhance clear, engaging reports and shared dashboards that identify material portfolio risks or risk-related potential enhancements to portfolios under coverage. This is a hands-on role in terms of technical work, research, and working with data.
Responsibilities
- Assessing portfolio strategies including reviews of risk positioning relative to client risk and return objectives.
- Developing and maintaining the risk program, process, and communication channels to enable transparency to key stakeholders.
- Collaborating with portfolio managers in the review of portfolio construction and concentrations.
- Engaging with portfolio managers and credit analysts in analyzing investment risks and identifying potential risk scenarios.
- Constructing stress test scenarios and providing analysis of tail risks in portfolios.
- Utilizing analytical tools to understand portfolio betas and to identify correlated positions.
- Creating and overseeing the preparation of analytics needed to evaluate portfolio trends and risk exposures, and proactively detect early warning signs of deterioration. Report and recommend changes and or actions based on findings.
- Partnering with internal teams such as reporting, analytics and technology to improve and extend existing tools and capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-10 years of relevant risk management / portfolio risk experience applicable to Asset Management / Hedge Fund portfolios.
- Experience in assessing risk across multiple asset classes including global equities, fixed income, foreign currency, futures, options, and other listed/OTC derivatives.
- Experience in assessing risk within the alternative investments including, private credit, private equity, venture capital and LP investments.
- Advanced knowledge with Excel, SQL and Bloomberg. Programming skills in coding languages such as Python or VBA preferred.
- Candidate must have deep knowledge of risk platforms (Bloomberg PORT, Blackrocks Aladdin, or other platforms).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and process large amounts of information.
- Strong communication skills and ideally prior experience of forming effective partnerships with Portfolio Managers and other internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and deliver high quality, accurate work in a fast-paced business.

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $73,000.00 and $93,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. **Role Description**
+ Engage with internal teams to develop analytical views on both internal portfolio and credit market trends to be incorporated in senior management presentations and regulatory reporting
+ Support the enhancement and adjustment of credit risk data governance, maintain clear communication with relevant control functions to effectively guide the credit data enhancement initiatives
+ Collaborate with Risk Management Stress Testing and Scenario Design Team to enhance and expand stress testing on the portfolio, and assist in identifying emerging risks
+ Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc credit risk analyses, and communicate key findings to team leadership
+ Work with other team members in creating materials to communicate with other units, auditors, and regulatory agencies

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to solicit input and distill complex credit issues and concepts in refining credit risk appetite and associated controls, accessible to all stakeholders

**Qualifications and Skills**

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our team in a role that bridges financial risk analysis and front-office business management. Serving as a critical support resource for our international product and business heads, this role demands strong quantitative skills and a sound awareness of the various markets in which we operate and their associated risks. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Support the primary business management partners to the trading desk leads across Rates, Credit, Securities Financing, Structured Solutions and Equities.
- Assist with strategic and operational initiatives including budgeting, headcount planning, control enhancement, resource allocation, and new activity coordination
- Coordinate front-to-back infrastructure and system enhancements for trading desks.
- Drive governance and ensure adherence to internal controls, audit, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and deliver performance reporting, KPIs, and strategic business updates to senior management.

**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; FRM or CFA certification (or progress toward) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial services, either in a trading role, trading support, or risk management.
- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and Python or VBA a plus.
- Solid understanding of market risk concepts, financial instruments, and trading strategies.
