**SUMMARY**
The Press Brake Operator is an advanced skilled position, with responsibility for set-up and operation of CNC controlled forming. The operator receives work assignments and will need to work under limited supervision, able to resolve most problems with limited assistance. All work will be first piece inspected to minimize rework or scrap, with final inspections/testing. The Press brake operator will be expected to adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies and 5S standards.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
+ Review of production orders and interpret accompanying work instructions and drawings, to determine job requirements.
+ Run bend and forming operations, using standard and custom dies.
+ Perform complex programming, using all features of the Brake Press.
+ Have experience with the setup and bend of various gauges and types of sheet metal.
+ Check height, depth and thickness using tape measure, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
+ Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
+ Troubleshoot issues related to machine operation and product quality.

**Roles Available:**
**Extrusion:** Where it all begins! This position creates the plastic film used to make the bags.
The Extrusion Line Operator controls and monitors the film production of his or her designated line(s). Oversees the quality, housekeeping, and safety of the designated extrusion line(s). Maintains clear communication with all Plant Department in an effort to produce quality base film.
**Press:** This vital role creates the visual aspect (the ink on the bags) to our manufacturing process.
