Our newest factory, located along the Virginia border, breathes new life into a former brewery, creating an innovative and technologically advanced pet food manufacturing facility. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will provide safe and efficient operations of the Packing, Processing, and Batching, Unloading, Slurry (BUS) departments by safely producing quality products using Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) processes and tools. You will monitor and operate equipment, lead troubleshooting, and make adjustments to provide optimal equipment and quality performance based on data or sampling. You will adhere to key standard routines and adjust only as a valid action in response to problem solving.
***Candidates must be open to working both day (6am-6pm) and night (6pm-6am) shifts.**
+ Safely operate, monitor, and problem solve throughout the Processing or Packing area, from materials receiving to delivery of material to packaging.
+ Maintain proper inventory management using FEFO method.
+ Operate and monitor all areas within the BUS department including:
+ Dry Batch
+ Slurry
+ Raw Ingredient Unloading (bulk, sacked, and frozen)
+ Raw Micro/Minor Ingredients
+ Dye Batching
+ Freezer ASRS
+ Ensure raw ingredients are unloaded to the proper storage location, and batch/monitor bin levels in Slurry and Dry Batching while doing the same for water tanks so proper ingredients and dye amounts are mixed into designated tanks.
+ Review and actively participate in risk assessments to successfully achieve position qualifications through evaluations and knowledge checks.
+ Maintain a safe and sanitary workplace, following all safety and quality procedures as prescribed.
+ Safely and efficiently operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on equipment, using lock out procedures as prescribed.
**Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 6+ months experience working in a manufacturing, production, agriculture, warehouse, military, or related environment.
The hourly pay for this position is $26.50 an hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.

Our Work Schedule: The Greensboro Procter & Gamble Plant operates 7-days per week on 12-hour shifts. Most employees work a 2-2-3 work schedule. Day shift is 7:00 am - 7:30 pm and night shift is 7:00 pm - 7:30 am.
Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the shift schedule.
Job Qualifications

A successful candidate in this position will be responsible for developing manufacturing processes for new power generation turbine airfoil components. The position also provides ongoing shop floor support of non-conventional machining and related processes.
The ideal candidate is a proactive Manufacturing Engineer who will own product manufacturing from development through project completion. A successful candidate in this position will be responsible for developing conventional machining processes for engine ran and new power generation turbine components.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
+ Determine appropriate cutting tools, fixturing, and machines for optimized machining approaches to sophisticated, multi-axis milling production of rotating blades and stationary vanes components. Complete the development and implementation of manufacturing CNC programs for complex machining processes for multi-axis milling machines.
+ Assist and provide direction for design and development of fixturing for machining processes. Design specialty cutting tools for precision form milling.
+ Collaborate with management, product engineering, peer engineers, and operators to realize high quality, stable processes for complex, conventional machining production of rotating blades and stationary vanes components.
+ Project leadership of development and qualification projects (scheduling, design of experiments, experimentation, reporting, documentation) with full responsibility for due dates, results and costs associated with your field of activities. Review in process product quality control information (manual and CMM dimension checks) and work with production personnel to adjust production run machining processes.
+ Collaborate with production personnel to implement, fix, and **improve** machining and associated processes. Collaborate with Quality Engineer to conduct Root Cause Corrective Analyses. Communicate with customers to understand requirements and communicate process deviations (NCRs). Lead continuous process improvements (analysis, solution finding, implementation) around machining processes and methods. Perform and assess manufacturing data to determine opportunities for improvement and lead teams to efficiently implement changes.
+ Support quoting efforts by providing cost estimates. Review tooling inventory and adjust stocking levels based on production run usage. Lead and support CAPEX projects and value calculations.
**What You Bring**
+ 2-4 year degree in a related Engineering field.
+ 5+ years relevant and proven 4- or 5-axis milling manufacturing experience.
+ Skilled in interpretation of product and manufacturing drawings and specifications.
+ Skilled in the use of Siemens NX & Teamcenter CAD/CAM systems and product data management systems. Knowledgeable in 4- and 5-axis milling machining processes.
+ Knowledgeable in programming, online and offline, of conventional milling machines.
+ Expert Knowledge in parametric model definition tools of NX and assembly modeling with interpart linking. Expertise in crafting component fixtures related to milling machining processes. Skilled in interpretation of product and manufacturing drawings and GD&T specifications. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook).
