The research fellow/senior research fellow will participate to our research program for the induction and maintenance of immune tolerance. The Mondello lab is looking for a post-doctoral research fellow with prior wet lab experience for 2-3 years in relevant biomedical field (e.g., molecular biology, immunology and/or genomics).
The research focus of the Mondello lab is epigenetic dysregulations in B cell malignancy and their impact on the tumor microenvironment. By combining genomic, epigenomic and transcriptomic profiling approaches of patient samples and lymphoma cells lines together with genetically modified mouse models, the lab will identify and functionally characterize recurrent genetic lesions affecting chromatin modifiers and transcription factors, determine the role of these alterations in modulating the tumor-immune crosstalk and ultimately use this information to develop specific and potent therapeutic strategies.
The expectation is the applicant will execute bench work, including but not limited to viral transfection, immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry, western blotting of primary and lymphoma cell line, as well as mouse work, including but not limited to immunization, transplant, genotyping and mouse colony maintenance.
Prior experience in some the above-mentioned techniques is expected but additional training will be provided. The applicant will be required to work on site.

Dr. Madhuranthakam's newly established Quantitative Imaging Program in the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, has an immediate opening for two postdoctoral research fellows. The research program is focused on the development and evaluation of novel magnetic resonance (MR) imaging techniques for improved diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy response assessment. The research fellows in this position will primarily focus on quantitative imaging including arterial spin labeling (ASL) measured noncontrast perfusion, diKusion-weighted imaging (DWI), and fat/water separated imaging applied across a broad range of anatomies including brain, kidneys, lungs, and whole-body imaging. Summary of Position
The Systems Engineering Research Center/Acquisition Innovation Research Center (SERC/AIRC) at Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking highly motivated senior thought leaders in the greater Washington D.C. area and in Hoboken, NJ, to join as an AIRC Research Fellow to lead advanced technical and policy research activities and ensure the successful execution of defense acquisition innovation projects. Appointments are typically for one year and renewable upon the availability of funds.
Responsibilities
Activities will depend on the projects as assigned and may include the following:
Lead the conceptual formulation, prototyping, and transitioning of innovative approaches for improving acquisition outcomes through the digital transformation of processes, data collection and governance, data sharing, and analysis.
Assess statutes, regulations, policies, and guidance related to specific functions in the defense acquisition system, including effects on government and industry performance outcomes. Identify potential waivers or changes that could improve acquisition outcomes while assessing their costs, benefits, risks, side effects, and implications for government and industry.
Interface frequently with government representatives to understand and assess their needs and problems, identify and access data, share preliminary results, identify schedule constraints, prepare status reports, develop technical briefings and reports, and summarize findings for non-specialists.
Requirements
PhD or significant related work experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Management, Operations Research, Law, Business, Public Policy, Economics, or another appropriate field or discipline.
Evidence of excellence in research and development as demonstrated through academic or industry research results and relevant work experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary and multi-organizational teams in developing innovative approaches to practical operational problems and executing cooperative, multidisciplinary research.
Faculty, program or line management experience, including proposal writing and reviews, innovative idea generation, drafting technical statements of work, PI and team development and recruiting, financial reviews, and publications.

Extensive experience and reputation in working with DoD acquisition leadership on strategic initiatives and challenges to improve defense acquisition.

The basic purpose of this position is to provide internally and externally, the toxicological research and strategic expertise to amplify the scientific engagement of Global Nonclinical Safety (NCS) and Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics (DMPK). The main responsibility of the experienced toxicologist in this position is to contribute as a highly experienced toxicologist with a focus on discovery research and implementation of the vision and strategic objectives of Global NCS and DMPK. The incumbent will act as internal expert in toxicology across therapeutic areas. The Highly Distinguished Research Scientist needs to have deep understanding about what is technically feasible, what will work within Research and Development that is housed within a complex, global organization.
The successful candidate will provide project teams with scientific expertise and leadership for the safety assessment of programs from early discovery, through to candidate selection and beyond. You will contribute to the assessment and selection of novel drug targets and identify opportunities for lead optimization of novel candidate molecules using innovative molecular, cellular, and in vivo technologies and leveraging resources in Toxicological sciences.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Serve as thought leader within cross-functional and cross-therapeutic area interface to R&D projects for discovery and investigative toxicology de-risking expertise.
- Responsible for leading early safety strategy development and communication during the Research phase and designing and coordinating investigative toxicology study or research support for both small molecules and biologics.
- Contribute to project plans that will influence strategic direction and prioritization of global R&D projects, with impact on project and function specific goals and milestones.
- Determine "best practices" to seamless Research to Development transitions of nominated drug candidates to Regulatory Toxicology and R&D Drug Development Teams.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal (Research, Development, Medicine, Regulatory) and external regulatory interactions involving investigative toxicology de-risking of drug candidate target organ toxicities. This includes proposing risk management options for supporting clinical development.
- Using established internal and external networks, responsible for scoping investigative study work packages, developing study designs and their placement (internal, CRO) and execution
- Capable of independently serving as broad subject matter expert to global senior leadership and R&D governance committees; It is expected that the incumbent will have an unimpeachable record of high level impact on a drug discovery and development portfolio.
- Maintain and expand an international reputation in area of expertise; Represent Boehringer Ingelheim as one of the world's top scientific leaders in field of expertise at both internal and national/international conferences, meetings and organizations; Publish extensively on specific and general topics in drug discovery or development.
