As an SEM Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Lead Generation Manager and ensuring the continued success of our SEM campaigns for clients around the world. This role focuses on researching, maintenance, optimization, reporting, and client interactions. You will be responsible for enhancing campaign performance and maintaining clear communication with teammates on your client accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Campaign Optimization: Review and optimize SEM campaigns regularly to improve performance - this includes keyword management, ad copy adjustments, bidding strategy optimization, etc.
- Client Meetings: Be client-facing in regularly scheduled or as-needed client meetings. Be prepared with strategic recommendations and professional guidance.
- Research: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to generate budget recommendations tailored to a clients’ market competition based on available budget and competition analysis.
- Generate reports: Gather KPI reports to effectively communicate campaign results - this includes for recurring meetings & intermittent progress checks.
- Budget Management: Ensure proper allocation of ad spend for campaigns you’re responsible for.
- Transparency: Maintain open and transparent communication with clients regarding campaign performance and results.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments as needed to address client needs and enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Analytics Support: Assist in analytics tracking as required, whether for reporting or technical setups, working with the team. Assist in maintaining active paid ad reports.
- Product Support: Help execute the delivery of paid advertising products related to SEM marketing, both existing and new offerings.
- Other Duties: Assist in other departmental tasks as required to provide additional support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience working with Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and other paid search platforms, with a preference for experience in medical marketing.
- Digital Analytics: Basic understanding of on- and off-platform tracking, reporting, and testing.
- Marketing Knowledge: Best practices for copy development, call-to-actions, and dayparting effectiveness.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively convey campaign performance and strategies to clients and team members.
