You will report to the Systems Engineering Manager who leads our SLED team with a focus on mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. There is no specific requirement for you to go into the office as the role can be effectively performed remotely.
The role does involve travel, and you must be prepared to travel up to 25% of the time, primarily within your territory and for various event-based opportunities.
**Your Role**
+ Demonstrate features and articulate benefits of Nutanix solutions to influence customer's purchases to drive business transformation
+ Size and configure Nutanix solutions

**What You Will Bring**

**Work Arrangement**

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 165,200 and USD $ 247,800 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. As a key part of our US sales engineering team, you will:
+ Drive in-depth discovery discussions with prospective customers to understand their environment and needs.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 5+ years of technical sales experience with infrastructure and enterprise software.
+ Proven experience in Kubernetes operations, networking, the container ecosystem, and microservices. At least 4+years of experience.
+ Demonstrable background in evangelizing and bringing disruptive new technologies to market.
**Preferred Qualifications**

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
