**Education and Experience:**

WHAT YOU GET TO DO AS AN PRESS OPERATOR:
- Machine operator responsible for setting-up, running, and troubleshooting production equipment
- Responsible for understanding technical knowledge required in the manufacturing process
- Focus on continuous improvement and productivity through teamwork
- Monitor quality of product as press runs and monitor use of raw materials.
- Change inks, coatings, papers, decks, configurations, methods, set-up and inspection.
- Inspect quality of print, inspect quality of raw materials.
- Clean plates, rollers, etc. and change doctor blades and make necessary adjustments such as laydowns and blade angles.
- Clean backups, excess oils and grease.
- Check and adjust mechanical parts such as gears, troubleshooting and detecting cause of problems

- Perform housekeeping chores as needed, to maintain a safe and orderly work environment

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Manufacturing experience or previous machine operating is required

Salary, based on experience and other qualifications:
- 1st Shift: $24.30 per hour
- 2nd Shift: $4.30 per hour plus 1.50 shift differential per hour
What You Will Do:
- Monitor and operate all presses, dryers, and control systems
- Monitor and operate flour unloading equipment and flour handling system to ensure delivery of proper ingredients
- Monitor and add other ingredients (i.e., Egg) to the delivery system
- Properly direct finished products to storage silos
- Perform operational adjustments, breakdown and preventive maintenance for the flour handling system, presses, dryers, and related support equipment

- Use micrometers, calipers, scales, and fixed gauges to check work in process and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Move materials in the performance of duties using lift truck or crane as necessary.
- Install and check safety devices as needed for specific jobs.
- Report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or advised, which may require more than the normal shift hours or work week to meet company needs.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years Manufacturing experience.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced; multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines
