The Facility Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of the facility and preventive maintenance of various equipment, devices, and machines. This position will schedule work tasks around administrative and production activities. This position will also assist other maintenance technicians with duties that require two or more employees. This position works with little supervision, and must be capable of working independently.
Shift:
2-2-3 Schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off)
5:45 AM - 6:15 PM (12 Hour)
This position reports to the Facilities Manager and is part of the Maintenance Department, located in Pensacola, Florida and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
+ Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, light bulb and electric ballast replacement, ceiling tile replacement, concrete repair, and assisting in deck building.
+ Conduct minor equipment preventive maintenance including lubrication, filter changes, belt replacements, and cleaning coils on air compressors, air handlers, chillers, and cooling towers.
+ Execute building preventive maintenance by treating rusted areas, pressure washing exterior walls and concrete, and maintaining the roof.
Who you are:
+ High School Degree or GED with at least 3+ years of experience in building/facility maintenance
+ Proficient in using tools such as circular saws, jig saws, band saws, reciprocating saws, drill motors, grinders, sanders, and drill presses.
+ Knowledgeable in various cleaning solvents, including paint thinners, mineral spirits, contact cleaners, parts-washing solvents, coil cleaners, and acetone. .
Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 40lbs
+ Ability to stand, squat, and reach for an extended period
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Ability to operate a high lift to perform work in high places
+ Ability to use a digital/analog multimeter
+ Ability to accurately document work performed in CMMS or other maintenance management system

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Work closely with Maintenance Supervisor and Production Team to Determine, Assign & Prioritize Work Orders and Preventive Maintenance. Schedule due dates for all Corrective Work Orders and Preventive Maintenance.
- Plan and schedule the execution of Maintenance Tasks with minimal impact on Production Activities.
- Manage small Maintenance Improvement Projects such as Upgrading Parts and Processes.
- Utilize CMMS system for Inventory transactions and Parts data entry as well as work orders scheduling.
- Analyze and Develop Technical PM Program and Procedures for Equipment.
- Organize the labor Resources, Parts, Materials, among other resources to have Work Orders Performed Efficiently.
- Utilize Manuals, Blueprints and/or Electrical Schematics to develop Maintenance Work Instructions and Plan Repairs.
- Ensure Maintenance Technicians have the Tools and Parts Needed to perform repairs and complete work orders.
- Manage the Storeroom with the Identification of Equipment or Machines in need of Spare Parts and Oversee the Inventory of all Storeroom items.
- Assess issues with Maintenance Supervisor and Mechanics to determine Necessary Parts and Inventory.
- Receives and unpacks incoming orders, checking against items listed on Requisitions, Invoices, or other Order forms.
- Maintain records and generate crucial reports with Maintenance Performance Metrics and Indicators.
- Communicates with vendors, both verbally and in Writing, on matters relating to Supplies and Planned work.
- Count and Store items received in bins or shelving and mark part numbers on containers as well as conduct asset inventory and audit of Spare Parts.
- Assure all Planned and Scheduled tasks are completed in accordance with Safety, Quality and Food Safety requirements.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Follow all relevant food safety rules including SQF, GMPs, and Food Defense.
- Report any observed food safety violations to your supervisor immediately.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

The Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all equipment is consistently operating at optimal performance.
This position reports to the Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Supervisor and is part of the Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Department located in New Brighton, MN and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Coordinate and perform internal and external calibration and preventive maintenance, ensuring accurate documentation in CMMS and Equipment Historical Records.
+ Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunction to minimize production downtime.
+ Update work instructions and procedures as needed and assist other departments with equipment-related projects and continuous improvements.
The essential requirements of the job include:
