The Opportunity

As a dedicated credentialed actuary on the Auto Pricing team, you will leverage advanced knowledge in at least one actuarial practice area (pricing, reserving, modeling, catastrophe risk, claims analytics, product management, etc.) to lead and complete broad, complex unstructured projects with countrywide product-level impact.

The Opportunity

As a dedicated credentialed actuary on the Auto Pricing team, you will leverage advanced knowledge in at least one actuarial practice area (pricing, reserving, modeling, catastrophe risk, claims analytics, product management, etc.) to lead and complete broad, complex unstructured projects with countrywide product-level impact.

This role is remote eligible in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel. However, individuals residing within a 60-mile radius of a USAA office will be expected to work on-site four days per week.

What you'll do:

  • Apply advanced actuarial knowledge to complete broad and complex projects (e.g., evaluates and selects methodology to price new discount/endorsement for countrywide rollout; develops alternative methodologies to comply with complex regulatory requirements; selects metrics and designs processes to monitor model performance; translates business problems into technical requirements and performs required analysis to develop solutions; independently runs catastrophe models and interprets and communicates results to support critical business activities, while enhancing the control environment as needed.
  • Utilize advanced actuarial, mathematical, or statistical techniques to augment actuarial work product.
  • Lead special actuarial projects, such as the development of new methodologies or reporting tools.

Job Description

The Sales Support & Pricing Specialist plays a key role in supporting the sales team, customer service, and distributor network across the U.S. and Canada. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate pricing, maintaining product data in D365, supporting government and Amazon accounts, and coordinating essential sales support functions including reporting, quoting, competitor cross-references, and product uploads. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-service driven, and proficient in data management and communication.


This is a 6-month contract opportunity with potential for extension based on business needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage pricing updates for the U.S. and Canadian markets, including discounts, contract renewals, spot buys, promotions, and list/net price changes.
  • Maintain accurate pricing documentation, including spreadsheets, trade agreements, and customer discount files.
  • Upload and maintain product data in Microsoft D365, including new item setups, updates to existing parts, and obsolete item removal.
  • Complete national account templates and manage cross-references between company parts and competitor equivalents.
  • Support internal sales teams and external agents with product information, pricing, quoting, and contract bids.
  • Handle uploads of excess or obsolete inventory into Amazon Seller Central.
  • Generate and analyze D365 reports, including open sales orders and inventory on hold.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for government accounts, including rebate tracking and pricing updates.
  • Provide technical product support and resolve customer inquiries related to quoting, manufacturing, planning, and shipping.
  • Assist with sales enablement initiatives including product launches, promotions, and Distributor Training Schools (DTS).

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in business or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic formulas).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or similar ERP systems strongly preferred.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external customers.
  • Customer-service oriented with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
