We are hiring a Principal Data Scientist in our NYC office.
About the Role:
As a Principal Data Scientist on the Research and Insights team, you will collaborate with the VP of Data Science. Your primary focus will be on developing audience measurement metrics for programmatic advertising and social channels, contributing to Applecart's software platform for targeting, advertising, and evaluating the impact of campaigns.
Key responsibilities include building and modeling audience measurement metrics, implementing research for crossplatform audience measurement and predictive products using campaign logs and audience data to optimize audience construction.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement audience measurement metrics using machine learning algorithms, survey data, publicly available data, and experiments.
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced statistical models to enhance advertising campaign measurement, planning, and targeting accuracy.
- Lead the design and implementation of survey based approaches to build audience measurement metrics.
- Communicate analytical concepts and results clearly to stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous model testing and validation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production systems for scalability and reliability.
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science). An advanced degree is preferred but not required.

Compensation:
Our compensation package consists of three components: (i) a base salary, (ii) annual cash bonus, and (iii) generous equity compensation.
The base salary range for this role is between $175,000-225,000, based on the candidate's experience and skills relative to the requirements listed above. The salary range provided is exclusive of discretionary annual cash bonus and equity compensation. The salary range provided for this role is specific to candidates located in the New York City area.

Responsibilities
- Analyze data from multiple databases to drive optimization and improvement of quality outcomes, resource utilization, and risk adjustment.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.

Base Salary Range

This salary range is offered with the understanding that final compensation is based on a number of factors including geography and experience. Tendo also offers an equity package, annual bonuses, and benefits.

We are looking for a business-savvy Principal Data Scientist to support our Contract Performance Management business team, focused on transforming operational and contract-related data into actionable insights. This role will report solid-line to business leadership, acting as an embedded expert within the commercial domain, with a dotted-line reporting to the IT Data Analytics & AI team.

Principal Data Scientist Opportunity - Precision Impact in Biopharma
Azurity Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Principal Data Scientist that combines high-impact, real-world decision-making with scientific rigor and technical depth.
We're looking for someone who can:
Lead causal inference and uplift modeling across HCP engagement, omnichannel strategy, and business development
Design and deploy models with production-grade MLOps (Azure, MLflow, Git, DBT, Foundry)
Act as a thought partner to commercial teams , translating insight into action
Mentor a growing team of data scientists and data engineers
Bring a PhD-level foundation in biostatistics, econometrics, computer science, or a related field.
This is a hands-on and strategic role , embedded within a high-functioning commercial team that values scientific integrity, reproducibility, and speed to insight.
Example projects may include:
- Optimizing field deployment and BD decisions using uplift models
- Running robust counterfactual analyses (e.g., PSM, DiD, IPW)
- Auditing legacy ML/AI assets and creating scalable inference pipelines
- Building technical standards across a team of 5+ DSs and 2-3 engineers
