Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex printing projects from concept through completion. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership, communication, and client management skills, coupled with deep experience in the printing industry. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, can work alongside multiple departments & can juggle several projects at once. The candidate may need to travel for clients. This position requires you to work closely with Sales Executives and Senior Management in providing day-to-day administrative and production support.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Project & Client Leadership : Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of print projects, serving as the primary point of contact for key clients. Manage expectations, timelines, and deliverables to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless execution.
  • Team & Vendor Coordination : Excel in a cross-functional team environment, working alongside sales, design, prepress, production, and logistics teams.
  • Scheduling & Workflow : Develop and manage project timelines, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Process Improvement & Reporting : Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflows, resource utilization, and project management processes. Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Order & Documentation Management : Process job jackets, quotes, and client orders. Maintain an organized system for filing job jackets and archived documents.

Qualifications:
  • Effective written and oral communication skills are required.

JOB SUMMARY:

The finishing operator is responsible for the machine setup, adjustments, make-readies, assist with maintenance, troubleshooting quality issues, and operation of their assigned folding gluing machine. While operating the machine, they are responsible for safely and efficiently manufacturing high quality folding cartons at or above target run speeds while minimizing waste and downtime. The machine operator is the leader of the crew and oversees the activities of the feeder packers working on that machine. The operator must obtain and review the job ticket for items, quantities, caliper of the paperboard, and any special instruction that is informational for running the order to specification. The case specification must also be reviewed to make sure that the instructions are clear and concise prior to running the order. The operator is responsible for ensuring all make-readies are put on as quickly as possible. The operator inspects the product quality including folded score caliper, proper gluing and stacking, carton and score alignment, and case fit, and ensures that the machine is in good running condition. The operator ensures that the Leary glue and mix detection system is constantly functioning correctly. The operator is also responsible for shutting down the machine if it is to be left unattended. This position reports to the Finishing Lead, Shift Supervisor and Finishing Manager.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Machine setup, adjustments and make-readies
  • Troubleshooting of machine and quality issues
  • Assist with maintenance, machine setups, etc.
  • Completion of required product and process audits
  • Exchange of information with shifts prior to/following work shift
  • Adherence to quality specifications
  • Identification of product/process enhancements to improve efficiencies, reduce downtime & spoilage
  • Production schedule output and timeframes
  • Effectively leading work crew to meet production goals
  • Attend team meetings
  • Must be able to differentiate colors
  • Train new team members to ensure job duties are performed efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Enforcing compliance with all company policies (Safety, GMP, etc.)

EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude

This role ensures that all products meet quality standards and are packaged correctly before shipment. Supervisory Responsibilities: • None. Duties/Responsibilities: •Operate finishing machinery according to company guidelines and safety standards. •Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications. •Package finished products for shipping, including labeling and ensuring correct order completion. •Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines. •Record production data, including quantities finished and any issues encountered during the shift. •Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve any operational issues. •Perform routine maintenance on finishing machinery to ensure optimal performance. •Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: •Excellent attention to detail to ensure high quality of finished products. •Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for handling machinery and products. •Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately. •Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. •Basic mathematical skills for measuring and packaging purposes. •Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers. •Basic proficiency with computers for recording production data. Education and Experience: •High school diploma or equivalent preferred. •Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. •On-the-job training will be provided. Physical Requirements: •Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. •Must have the ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly. •Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms. Position Type & Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
