Preferred Position Qualifications :

  • Experience: 1 year in home health

Role Overview:

As an Antepartum Registered Nurse (RN), your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing initial patient assessments during admissions.
  • Creating and updating patient care plans based on assessed needs and responses.
  • Documenting nursing interventions and patient outcomes effectively.
  • Ensuring proper transcription of physician orders.
  • Providing educational support to patients and families regarding care and treatment.
  • Administering medications and treatments per hospital policies.
  • Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Preferred experience in an acute care setting.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current Texas Registered Nurse license or Compact RN license (Texas license required within 90 days of hire).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
  • Certification in Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB) preferred.
