**Job Summary**
The Clean Energy Solutions (CES) organization identifies, plans, and implements a portfolio of programs that support New Jersey's Clean Energy Vision. This portfolio currently includes Energy Efficiency, Electric Vehicles, and Solar.
This position within the Customer Solutions Support (CSS) Business Solutions team, supporting CES supports energy efficiency program delivery through a combination of internal and external resources to meet program goals. Provides analytical and program implementation support for energy efficiency programs. This includes the development, preparation, and analysis of operational reports; development of procedures/process improvements; technical support and expertise to process owners. The successful candidate must have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and communicate complex information in a clear, approachable manner.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Serve as CES subject matter expert and line of business "liaison"; partners with IT peers on any/all customer-facing system development and enhancement work.
+ Support and lead the Key Project Milestone (KPM) process for all CES IT initiatives.
+ Work independently on assigned tasks as well as collaborate on cross-functional teams to achieve a shared, desired outcome.
+ Support the development, maintenance, data collection, analysis and preparation for weekly and monthly operational reports.
+ Develop and maintain databases/spreadsheets to support program operations.
+ Develop and generate ad-hoc reports and operational/financial reports from existing systems.
+ Support process improvement initiatives based on scorecard gaps and monitoring assessments.
+ Develop and prepare various management reports, internal audits, spreadsheets and charts of key program and departmental processes and metrics.
+ Gather and link data from diverse sources to identify data driven improvement opportunities. Represent the department on various cross-functional teams.
+ Prepare PowerPoint presentations to summarize analyses and recommendations.
+ Play a leadership role in the development, recommendation, and implementation of new procedures/process improvements, often via cross-functional team.
+ Prepare status reports for management, developing and delivering appropriate communication materials.
+ Provide technical expertise and support to process owners.
+ Drive efficiency and process improvement, utilizing leadership skills, data analysis and strong understanding of the business strategies. Foster the refinement, understanding and enhanced utilization of process measures and benchmarking.
**Job Specific Qualifications**
+ BS degree and 5+ years relevant work experience including business/financial experience. In lieu of a degree, 9 years relevant work experience.
+ Strong analytical, strategic thinking, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills
+ Demonstrated strong MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and PC skills
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Experience in database/spreadsheet management
+ Strong organizational skills

EDUCATION & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Certificate or bachelors degree in supply chain, finance or accounting

The Global Business Process Management Group is looking for a Business Process Analyst to help drive measurable business process improvements aligned with Global Private Client Group (PCG) goals.   • Communicate with Team Members in all roles across the company to learn business requirements and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Document business processes – process mapping, business rules, training materials, and other documentation as needed; maintain as required

  • Lead Teams through process meetings, document as-is and would-be processes

  • Understand city-specific requirements that require modifications to a company-wide process

  • Determining the appropriate data needed for research and extracting that data from business systems

  • Data analysis – identify patterns and trends, specific areas of concern, leading indicators of upcoming events, and predictive measures

  • Gathering consensus on recommendations – follow up on feedback as needed

  • Prepare and present findings and recommendations from research to Management

  • Work with Application Development Team to ensure that business systems support business processes

  • Work with Trainers across the company to ensure that business processes are being properly communicated to all Team Members

  • Project Management – action plan, communication plan, meeting planning, followup, and other responsibilities as needed

  • Bring together groups of Team Members with common roles to share information, best practices, and work through common obstacles as needed

  • Collaborate with Team Members across the company to determine opportunities for standardization

  • Facilitate discussions virtually with Team Members from across the company.

  • Travel! This job can involve 30-50% travel depending on current projects.

The Technical-- You need to have or know:

  • Previous experience in business process analysis or process improvement (Lean Six Sigma or similar) is preferred

  • Project management skills – ability to define the steps required to take a project from start to finish and to see these tasks through to completion; ability to manage multiple projects at one time

  • Willingness to adopt new technology and build technical skills to support development of business solutions

Work Location-- This position is not 100% remote – you will be expected to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week. Our office is located in West Houston, near the intersection I-10 Katy Freeway and 610 W Loop N Fwy.

Business Process Analyst - Intermediate

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Business Process Analyst for a contract position in Chicago, IL. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Analyze process models as they are (As-is), compare them to the future and improved designs (To-be), and determine the necessary changes for arriving at the improved state.
  • Design business processes (To-be) and manage any subsequent changes to them.
  • Identify, document and analyze business rules that govern the implementation of business processes.
  • Test and execute processes to ensure that the right results are achieved
  • Examine processes holistically to understand the impact of changing them on people, strategy, existing software applications and general business operations.
  • Collate feedback on process performance. The collected data forms the basis of future process improvement projects
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of processes
  • Perform analysis to detect inefficiencies within the scope of a given workflow
  • Spreadsheet software and flow-charting tools, and various business process analysis tools

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of process consulting (more business end)
  • Strong leadership skills - some experience in leadership (Ability to run workshops, lead a process, or Team toward a solution)
  • Ability to write procedures (must),analyze and understand process mapping as a method of visualizing an ongoing process
  • Ability to analyze information from customers, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis methods and skills to find ways to help clients achieve their goals
  • Influential skills

Preferred:
  • Experience with VISIO - other mapping tools
  • Experience with MS Office Applications
  • Experience with Power BI - other data analytics tools
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with stakeholders and team members
  • Excellent writing skills
