You will lead the process improvement workstream for US Bakeries for the next 6 month. During this assignment you will analyze different process connected with absences (medical leaves, unexcused leaves, legal leaves) and set a plan on how to improve those process. During the assignment you will ensure our absenteeism control strategy is implemented and is fully effective.
How you will contribute (project deliverables):
You will:
• Analyze and map current process for absenteeism management/ reporting, defining roles involved, responsibilities, frequencies, etc with focus on US. Benchmark Canada as needed.
• Clarify and standardize classifications for planned/ unplanned across NA. Guarantee standardization and alignment with global standards.
• Map and communicate opportunities of improvement, with focus on US Bakeries. Focus on buckets: Unexcused, FMLA, WC, Sick days procedures. Define flowcharts for all of these losses and how they should be addressed.
• Lead project governance: implement changes, manages change, train, report weekly action completed. Act as a role model of Zero loss mindset and principles through effective coaching and development of the team.
• Lead and be Accountable to establish a strong Governance to Review, Control project performance and Continuous Improvement plan and embed a zero loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best in class both internally and externally.
• Create procedures/ SOP/ Training material to support process improvement.

Responsibilities for Quality Control Technicians jobs include but are not limited to:
+ Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements to reduce defects, increase efficiency and enhance overall product quality.
+ Perform verification and direct observation of food safety cheeks such as screens, magnets and x-rays to ensure the products are free of foreign materials.
+ Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment, instruments, and tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
+ Perform sensory evaluations on in-process and finished product.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Quality Control Technicians jobs:
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 3+ years related experienced required
+ Food or Pharmaceutical Quality Experienced required.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
+ Basic math and computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality control software (e.g. QMS, LIMS)

**Pay Details:** $21.00 per hour

Job Description
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for analyzing raw materials and production materials to ensure compliance with specified literature and standards. This role involves more than routine quality testing, requiring the ability to solve quality non-conformance issues, run product testing, and critically think through problems. The technician must be tech-savvy and skilled in research to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Responsibilities
+ Approve raw materials and finished goods for use.
+ Determine physical values of materials and ensure chromatographic compliance as detailed in the Quality Control procedural manual.
+ Conduct pH, specific gravity, refractory, titrations, GC, micro plating, and other tests.
+ Report discrepancies to the Quality Control Manager and assist in determining their origin.
+ Calibrate instrumentation and perform preventive maintenance as per technical manuals.
+ Adhere to safety guidelines within the workplace.
Qualifications
+ 1-3 years of QC experience within flavors, fragrances, food, or similar industry.
+ Organizational and problem solving skills.
+ Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
+ Bachelor of Science or Associates of Science in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
