**The Role**
The Process Operator will operate the ammonium fluoride reactor processes, the nitric and hydrofluoric acid distillations, proprietary reactor process, and various utility processes, including the industrial waste treatment facility, deionized water facility and other support facilities. This individual will perform other process department duties and tasks as assigned. This person will also be a trained member of the Medical and Chemical Emergency Response and Confined Space rescue teams.

**Key responsibilities for this role include:**
+ Correctly documents containers processed as required by standard operating procedure, including manual and electronic logs, forms, and labels.
+ Communicates equipment status and outages to the plant coordinator and process supervisor, as needed for correct, safe operation. Assist maintenance to troubleshoot and operate equipment for repair activities.
+ Participates in operational, quality, and safety reviews, as assigned.
+ Complies with all Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) regulatory requirements for the operation of ammonia system and distillation processes.
+ Participates in (ERT) Emergency Response Team after completing 40 Hour training. In the absence of Plant Coordinator be able to act as Incident Commander to manage emergency responses to completion or until relieved.
+ Complies with all process operator certification requirements and other certification requirements as assigned by the supervisor.
+ Operates Hydrofluoric Acid and Nitric Acid distillation processes to produce parts-per-billion {ppb) grade product. Distillation product supports chemical blending and other operations.
+ Operates industrial boilers to support distillation operations.
+ Operates Industrial Waste Treatment (IWT) plant within City of Mesa permit limits.
+ Operates Deionized Water unit to support high purity chemical applications in blending, rinsing, and cleaning operations.
+ Operates Ammonia and Acid Fume Scrubbers within air discharge permit limits.
+ Operates an Ammonium Fluoride process to produce high purity grade material in support of blending operations.
+ Operates an Anhydrous Ammonia system in support of Ammonium Fluoride operations.
+ Operates cooling water systems in support of other operations.
+ Conducts hourly rounds on all systems using tablet and software package to electronically document the process and correct any potential system deviations. React to data and trends on process to correct.
+ Assists with compounding and sampling in support of blending operations.
+ Maintains housekeeping and safety requirements in a wide range of plant operations
**REQUIREMENTS**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Minimum 5 years' chemical handling experience required or Manufacturing Technician III level competency level or higher. High purity chemical, semiconductor, or pharmaceutical experience required.
+ Ability to be fitted for and wear a respirator.
+ Must be able to obtain ERT certification and maintain ERT requirements.
+ Ability to understand chemical compounding and sampling and communicate results effectively.
+ 6-8 years' fork truck experience on either sit down or stand-up fork trucks.
+ Experience in operating a forklift and other manufacturing tools.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Demonstrated abilities to work independently and as a team.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills.
+ Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
+ Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, bend, climb and reach.
+ Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

+ Trained in site JSA and Risk Assessment programs and participates in production JSAs and Risk Assessments.
+ Perform LOTO for owned systems as defined.
+ Perform other duties, as required.
**REQUIREMENTS**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Minimum 3 - 5 years' chemical handling experience required or Manufacturing Technician III level competency level or higher. High purity chemical, semiconductor, or pharmaceutical experience required.
+ Ability to be fitted for and wear a respirator.

**THE ROLE** **:**
We are looking for a hands-on, safety-focused Process Operator to support the regeneration of mobile water treatment equipment. This role involves operating valves and hoses, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing physical tasks such as lifting and connecting equipment. **CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Mechanical ability to trouble-shoot and perform repairs on mobile trailers, steel tanks, plant equipment, and piping.
+ Perform 5S job duties to include housekeeping, painting, and any other autonomous maintenance job duties as directed by supervision.
+ Possess basic to intermediate computer skills to perform paperwork duties.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Systech Process Operators are trained in one process area and work with a minimum of supervision, unloading hazardous (i.e., flammable) and/or non-hazardous materials; and processing or blending the material for reuse as a fuel.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Unloads and processes material following established procedures. Proficient in use of a forklift or other mobile equipment.
+ Responsible for following Systech policies and permits for proper handling of waste.
+ Performs, upon request, routine maintenance on designated equipment.
+ Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Well organized.
+ Ability to operate heavy equipment such as bobcat, track mobile (move and position railcars), stinger and remote controlled agitation crane.
+ Inspect and recondition customer portable Fuel Quality Waste tanks.
+ Wears all levels of PPE as required.
+ Acts in a safety conscience manner in the workplace and promotes safety with the other site employees.
+ Assist in other work areas of the facility when necessary to meet site emergencies or production priorities.
+ Works scheduled or non-scheduled overtime as necessary to meet site production priorities or emergencies.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
**Required Education:** High School diploma/GED
**Required Work Experience:** 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
**Work Environment:** This position requires the incumbent to work outside and in the process buildings - this may include exposure to heat, cold, dust and noise in the processing of flammable waste materials. This work may require the use of Tyvek suits, safety glasses, respirators, supplied air respirators and/or gloves.
**Team Orientation:** The ability to work cooperatively in a professional team-oriented environment.
**Proficiency:** Proven proficiency to work in one process area, including demonstrated problem solving skills.
**Driving Requirements:** Maintain a valid driver's license in order to operate equipment that requires a drivers license to operate.
**Communication Skills:** Good written and oral communication skills in order to give and receive instructions, explain procedures and identify operational problems. Basic computer skills and the ability to complete reporting requirements.
**Additional Requirements:**
+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
