Responsibilities:
- Departmental Immersion: Spend 3-6 months embedded within an assigned banking department to understand end-to-end processes, policies, and systems.

- Design and execute pilot plant studies and plant trials to test process modifications.
- Utilize process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) to model and optimize process parameters.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all process changes comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams on new product scale-up and process design.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations on process performance and improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software.
- Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and reaction kinetics.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental standards.
