Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into software solutions.
Expectations and Tasks:
Map business processes to solution requirements. Help position disruptive business innovation. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries. Support pre-sales activities. Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies. Support escalated projects. Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas. Support in solution testing and issue resolution.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
+ SAP ABAP Development using WebDynproframework;
+ SAP LT Replication Server, including planning, configuring, managing, and optimizing data replication and real-time data integration;
+ SAP Migration Cockpit to efficiently plan, execute, and manage data migration from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA;
+ Python, including data analysis and automation;
+ SAP Basis, including system installation, configuration, performance tuning, and user administration; and
+ SAP Landscape Transformation, including planning, executing, and managing system consolidation across diverse SAP landscapes.
Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic travel to various, unanticipated customer sites nationwide.
