We're seeking a **Sterile Processing Technician for Emory University Hospital,** responsible for being a capable certified technician who cares about the quality of their work an ensuring the safety and care for all patients.
This individual will:
+ Provides on-site support for the reprocessing of surgical instruments and sets to contracted facilities in compliance with the Department of Health, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI and AORN standards and facility's goals and policies.
+ Supports daily operations of all activities that relate to the reprocessing of reusable medical supplies and instrumentation including decontamination, cleaning, assembly, wrapping, sterilization, and storage processes within all set professional standards and regulations.
+ At the direction of the Manager may participate in new IMS employee orientation and on the job training. Understands and promotes concepts of the Lean work environment. Communicates in a professional manner to all hospital staff and company employees. Refers all decisions beyond personal scope of responsibilities to IMS leadership.
+ Reports broken instrumentation and equipment and communicates low par levels of SPD consumable supplies. Exhibits professional behavior in all personal, telephone and electronic communications.
+ Represents IMS, self and profession positively in all public arenas. Supports and adheres to IMS policies and procedures and supports policies and procedures of facility.
+ Adheres to IMS / facility dress requirements and is neat and well-groomed at all times.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ A high school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
+ Completion of a Sterile Processing/Surgical Technologist program preferred.
+ Basic computer skills and aptitude required. Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or IAHCSMM or two years of experience in lieu of certification.
+ Extensive knowledge of instrumentation.
+ Ability to act as a resource for staff in both SPD and OR regarding identification and assembly of specialty instruments and trays.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Have two years of experience in sterile processing environment.

The Lead, Request Fulfillment Process Management will play a pivotal role within the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) office, overseeing the entire lifecycle of service requests across the organization. **Qualifications & Experiences.**
+ 6+ years of experience in IT service management or IT operations, with at least 3 years in a process management or service delivery leadership role.
+ Deep understanding of ITIL practices, particularly request fulfillment and service catalog management.
+ Proven experience working with the ServiceNow platform to support ITSM processes, including request workflows and catalog design.
+ Demonstrated success in leading process improvement initiatives and driving adoption across cross-functional teams.
+ Strong analytical and reporting skills; able to turn data into actionable insights.
+ Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and business audiences.
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
Not Required but preferred experience:
+ ITIL v4 Foundation certification (higher-level certifications such as Managing Professional are a plus).
+ ServiceNow CIS-ITSM or similar ServiceNow certifications.

**_Job Summary_**
The Representative II, Customer Service Operations processes orders for distribution centers and other internal customers in accordance to scheduling, demand planning and inventory. The Representative II administers orders in internal systems and responds to customer questions, clearly communicating delays, issues and resolutions. This job also processes non-routine orders, such as product samples, and ensures that special requirements are included in an order.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Processes routine customer orders according to established demand plans, schedules and lead times using SAP and other internal systems. Enters all necessary order information, reviews order contents, and ensures that orders are closed once completed.
+ Responds to inquiries from internal customers, such as Distribution Centers, regarding order tracking information as well as on-hold, back order and high priority statuses.
+ Identifies and communicates resolutions to order delays, missing information, and product availability based on customer profiles.
+ Uses dashboards and reporting from internal systems to identify causes of order issues, such as lack of inventory or invalid measures or requirements in the order. Creates visuals and conducts analyses as necessary to understand and communicate order data and issues.
+ Coordinates with a variety of internal stakeholders, including Planners and externally-facing Customer Service Representatives, regarding customer issues.
+ For international shipping and in cases of special order requirements, coordinates with Quality and Global Trade teams in order to ensure compliance of orders.
+ Processes orders for product samples and trials, coordinating with Marketing teams as necessary to understand the purpose and requirements of the samples.

JW Pepper distribution center is hiring to fill several positions in order processing and inventory stocking. This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week. All applicants must be flexible to accommodate seasonal overtime needs, which include some evening and Saturday hours. Starting wage $16.00 an hour. Job Description

The order picker is responsible for quickly and efficiently filling customer orders in a manner that meets company standards for quality and productivity. Responsible for the completeness and the accuracy of all orders. In an effort, to provide the highest level of customer service, all warehouse associates will be cross trained to be proficient in shipping, package handling, stock put away and replenishment, other basic inventory control functions, and basic receiving functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Pick ordered items from correct bin locations using barcodes and item numbers
  • Verify item and quantity ordered
  • Place items picked into the appropriate shipping box or slotted tote
  • Repack order boxes to the appropriate size when needed
  • Perform regular shelf maintenance to ensure product quality
  • Follow all best procedural practices throughout the picking process
  • Order pickers must meet production standards during peak season
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
  • Follow company policies as outlined in the employee handbook
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and stocked with necessary supplies

Requirements

  • Operate an RF scanner
  • In-depth knowledge of the warehouse layout
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes for long hours
  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate seasonal overtime requirements, including weekend work
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong motivation and a sense of urgency
  • Must be able to handle stress that is involved in meeting deadlines due to tight scheduling

Participates with and monitors process of building accurate and timely assembling of case carts for emergent/urgent and elective cases. Assists with maintaining department sterilization records. Participates in sterilizer test parameters monitoring, e.g., bowie dick test, biologicals, and other forms of sterilization testing and responds appropriately to sterilization that does not pass. Supports operating room functions in sterile core. Fosters positive working relationships across departments and campuses with patients, physicians, families, visitors, coworkers, and vendors. Complies with all applicable regulations, standards, and recommendations. Follows hospital and departmental safety instructions, policies, and procedures. Attends 80% of staff meetings/communication and job-related educational opportunities.
