**Responsibilities:**
The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:
+ Lead the development and execution of regional and national 53' drayage procurement strategies aligned with service, capacity, and cost goals
+ Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with qualified drayage carriers and owner-operators
+ Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements to ensure reliable capacity and margin stability
+ Monitor carrier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), compliance metrics, and scorecards
+ Analyze market trends, pricing benchmarks, and capacity shifts to inform procurement decisions
+ Collaborate with operations, sales, and pricing teams to align carrier capabilities with customer expectations
+ Design and implement systems, dashboards, and processes to streamline drayage procurement and execution
+ Provide training, documentation, and post-audit support for newly developed procurement processes
+ Support request for proposal (RFP) responses and contract execution with reliable drayage solutions
+ Lead cost savings initiatives and continuous improvement projects across the drayage service line
+ Manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder alignment
+ Prepare and deliver progress reports, presentations, and strategic updates to leadership
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or intermodal - with a focus on drayage procurement or carrier management
+ Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion, some night and weekend hours may be required
+ Proven track record of delivering projects on time and with expected quality.
+ Ability to travel up to 10%.Expected travel for 2-4 events per year
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
+ Proven project management experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
+ Strong communication skills, including experience presenting to Director/VP-level audiences
+ Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and build partnerships across functions
+ Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to execute plans
+ Experience leading change management initiatives and resolving complex challenges
+ Familiarity with domestic intermodal and import/export markets
+ Existing network of 53' drayage carrier relationships

**Compensation Range**
$87,800.00 - $36,700.00
