ROLE SUMMARY

The Backend Developer, with a strong understanding of Product Information Management (PIM), plays a crucial role in our client's digital transformation by designing and delivering services for our client's Product Information Ecosystem. This includes managing, maintaining and improving the PIM System while mastering data flows between systems that consume or produce product information. They collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and frontend developers to ensure smooth data flow and seamless integration between enterprise systems like ERP and CRM, frontend applications and product platforms, enhancing the overall product information ecosystems and its solution design. Additionally, they function as Data Engineers to implement data reports, set up databases, and define data models, ensuring a robust data architecture that supports the ecosystem's needs. The Product Data and Information Publishing / PIM team works in an agile environment, guided by a Product Owner and a Tech Lead. Each member of the team has a specific role to play, but they all share a common goal of delivering industry-leading digital solutions to our customers.
