A client of Insight Global is looking for a Product Strategy Manager within the Americas Switchgear & Busway line of business. Which is responsible for driving strategic and operational alignment across the Americas Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and the Busway Product Line. This role is critical in ensuring performance visibility and coordination across pipeline, orders, sales, and key financial metrics specific to the Busway portfolio.
Reporting directly to the Director, Product Strategy Americas - Busway, this position leads efforts to monitor and improve margin performance, including pricing initiatives, VAVE efforts, and cost-out programs. The role also supports long-term product strategy, business case development for new offerings, and ongoing performance management of existing products. In addition, this individual will serve as a primary source of customer and market intelligence for the Americas region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a strategic partner across Sales, Sales Operations, and Finance for all Busway-related topics, including pipeline, orders, sales, and demand planning.
- Lead margin and profitability analysis and drive improvement initiatives across the Busway Product Line.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, and the Product Line team to execute pricing strategies and margin improvement programs.
- Work closely with the Busway Technical Sales and Application Engineering teams to support technical product strategy and customer alignment.
- Conduct research into market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and competitor activity specific to the Busway space.
- Support Sales Enablement processes and best practices for new and evolving Busway products in coordination with Sales and Sales Operations.
- Gather voice-of-customer insights and translate them into product business cases to inform global product management.
- Track and evaluate post-launch performance of Busway offerings, including pipeline development, quotations, and sales conversion.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $113,100-$226,200 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
