As a Production Planning Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
+ Planning and scheduling of production work centers, monitor work center output to meet customer requirements and improve work center operational efficiency
+ Strong written or oral communication with Production Planning, Lean Value Stream, and Operations Team members along with active participation in the Tier process
+ Working closely with the business to understand customer requirements and forecasts. Working closely with the manufacturing team, value stream leadership, and Supply Planners to determine how best to prioritize and resolve supply constraints and balance service, inventory, and cost to meet business targets
+ Parameter Management: optimizing and maintaining production lot sizes, production cycles and safety stocks to deliver the desired balance between inventory and service
+ Managing capacity including identifying, resolving, and escalating production constraints. Managing assigned working and non-working inventories to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets
+ Executing the production planning standard work utilizing supply chain tools, IT systems, and processes. Providing a high degree of planning analysis to support data-driven decision making
+ Identifies, leads, and participates in Continuous Improvement projects that improve customer service, inventory investment, flow, and supply chain efficiency
**Your Skills and Expertise**
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations Management, and/or Business Analytics from an accredited institution
+ ASCM (APICS) CPIM certification is preferred. If not complete at the time this position is assumed, the certification will become part of the employee professional development plan as agreed between management and the employee.
+ Two (2) years combined experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment.
+ Experience with SAP ERP Software
+ 3M systems experience (Factory Planner, PMCS/IMES, Peoplesoft)
+ Experience in Production Planning
+ Knowledge of Supply Planning (SP), Demand Planning (DP), and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
+ Strong data mining, data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
+ Advanced Microsoft Suite experience
+ Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills
+ Experience working on cross-functional teams.
+ Experience utilizing Lean and Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement methodologies.

**About the Opportunity**
The Plant Controller Tennessee Battery Plant will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up operating team, developing the foundation of Production Analysis from ground up. The Tennessee Battery Plant, located in Stanton, Tennessee, is a new greenfield electric battery plant located at BlueOval City.
The Tennessee site will employ approximately 2,500 employees. **Key Areas of Responsibility**
+ Support and review daily/weekly production closing in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

+ Report for summary of yield and defect details by detailed process
+ Prepare for summary of operation rate and non-operation time by detailed process
+ Collect number of personnel/working hours for each detailed process
+ Collect equipment operation time for each detailed process
+ Collect utilities (electricity/gas/water) usage by detailed process
+ Manage excess and deficiency for monthly control budget within department and record keeping for the history

**Minimum Qualifications**

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret real-time field operations production data.
• Identify measurement and production best practices and issues by performing trend analysis, creating probability distributions and completing data quality projects.
• Effectively train and develop teammates by sharing technical production knowledge
• Review daily and monthly new well data and production to assist field offices in maintaining accuracy of production diagrams and allocations.
• Prepare and review both state and federal production reports.
• Analyze business transactions of moderate complexity and determine appropriate treatment through research or collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Provides research, analysis, information and explanation for audit requests from internal/external auditors.
• Strong communication with internal and external contacts via phone or email.
• Handles other projects and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Bachelor's degree or related field of study is required
• 5+ years of oil and gas experience
• P2 Merrick/ProCount experience preferred
• Strong computer skills including Excel
• Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, and acute attention to detail
• Sound verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members at all levels of the organization

+ Provide inputs to SUPSHIP and Program Office, monitor and audit contractor shipbuilding production efforts.
+ Assist in testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production in factories, determining the causes of breakdowns, and the testing of manufactured products to maintain quality.

Support Affordable Housing Mortgage Bankers in securing and processing all potential loans (both agency and non-agency execution).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Sr. Analyst will provide detailed quantitative and qualitative support to the Affordable Housing Mortgage Bankers. The following is a summary of essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major or minor, which are not mention below.

  • The position will support the Affordable Housing Mortgage Bankers in all aspects of loan origination, (agency, FHA, and private placement executions).
  • The Sr. Analyst will be primarily responsible for modeling, evaluating and underwriting new financing opportunities, by providing financial modeling, and delivering high quality property and market analysis to debt investors.
  • Partner with Affordable Housing Mortgage Bankers to pitch various execution options. Act as a product specialist across an array of affordable housing products including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Private Placement investors.
  • Work with support staff, transaction manager, underwriting and credit in the preparation of preliminary and final loan submissions.
  • The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for ordering 3rd party reports, completing compliance requirements, etc.
  • He/She will work directly with the mortgage bankers to assist in securing debt financing for multifamily affordable housing projects and be overseen by the Transaction Manager.

MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS

The Sr. Analyst will provide industry, market, business, and quantitative analysis support. This will include performing ad-hoc strategic and financial reporting. The Sr. Analyst is expected to have a continuous improvement mindset and would be empowered to recommend efficiencies for change. The Sr. Analyst will work on special projects assigned from time to time. The position may include doing site inspections when necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or Real Estate.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, real estate, investment banking or consulting including Real Estate Finance.
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, experience with complex spreadsheets.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data from multiple computer systems.
  • Solid understanding and experience in the affordable housing industry.
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data and communicate relevant findings.
