**Summary**
The Production Designer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between Environmental design and Detailing. They display an overall knowledge of Freeman's modular build systems, capabilities, and limitations. They are expected to deliver clean, attractive, well detailed drawings that contain comprehensive technical information. These drawings will eventually be handed off to Detailing, and are expected to be at a level of quality that requires little to no correction.
The Production Designer must be fluent in AutoCAD and familiar with (or willing to learn) FreemanCAD, as well as the Schedule Generator (SG) functions of ExpoCAD3D. They may, on occasion, be asked to create color renderings of their CAD structures. The 3D Production Designer works directly with the growth department and is client-facing when needed. Communication with Production (Shop / Producing Branch / Detailing) will be required.
This position will support our Design team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:
- Dallas, TX
- McCook, IL
- Orlando, FL
- Las Vegas, NV
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Must be fluent in AutoCAD 2020 or higher.
- Ability to use (or willing to learn) rendering software, i.e. 3ds Max, Sketchup.

**SUMMARY:**
The Production Designer works closely with directors, producers, and the visual development team to visually explore, create and design all aspects of feature animated films. This may include: sets, locations, props, characters, visual effects, color and overall style.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Follow production through delivery to uphold show styles and standards.
**Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years as a Production Designer or Art Director on a feature animated experience required.
