The Production Facility Manager plays a key role in providing daily leadership to 1 of our 11 Production Facilities across the U.S. The Production Facility Manager works autonomously, regularly exercising independent judgment and discretion with limited supervision. The incumbent must display strong leadership acumen to successfully lead and develop a manufacturing team of ~70 employees, achieve SLA commitments, and deliver high-quality results to customers. The Production Facility Manager is the primary point of contact for all site activities.
► Key Areas of Responsibility
This role is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operational functions for the assigned Vestcom production facility. Works closely with Vestcom's client experience/delivery specialists, IT/data center, creative services, HR, and Finance.
+ Ensures all quality measurement, on-time and in full deliveries are maintained while supporting our safety and health standards
+ Builds relationship with organization by supporting, coaching, and developing employees to foster a high performing, engaged organization
+ Manages facility with mindset of continuous improvement, using data driven approach for labor productivity/scheduling, capacity utilization, cost, and inventory management
+ Fosters an environment of respect, open communication, and ongoing feedback across the site
+ Establishes annual goals, objectives, and development plans for direct reports
+ Communicates effectively, plans, organizes, and manages multiple projects/commitments in a timely manner
+ Evaluates and independently determines when to elevate concerns and provides recommended resolutions to Vestcom management in a timely manner.
+ Manages facility staffing, hiring, and temp agency utilization in partnership with Human Resources
+ Partners with Director to set and steward annual budget for facility in support of company goals
+ Oversees facility and machine maintenance needs
+ Ensures all safety requirements/processes and company policies are upheld
+ Measures performance against process requirements, service level agreements and/or quality goals.
+ Ensures compliance with internal policies, procedures and internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes- Oxley Act 2002 Section 404.
Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or five years related experience in a production/ manufacturing industry

The Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Isotope Program (IP) within Inorganic Isotope & Actinide Chemistry group (C-IIAC) is recognized worldwide for their R&D and production of radionuclides for medical and industrial applications. The program is seeking an Isotope Production Facility (IPF) Operator to provide electro/mechanical and operational support for the irradiation of production and R&D targets at the IPF at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE).
An IPF operator is responsible for supporting both routine irradiation activities and research experiments, facility maintenance including radiological work, assisting in the troubleshooting and maintenance of complex IPF systems (computer control systems, water purification and recycle systems, radiological systems), as well as providing 24/7 off hours and on call support. The successful candidate will also participate in research associated with developing production methods for novel isotopes and applications. Irradiations and maintenance will be performed in a facility that includes a Hot Cell designed to handle high dose rate materials.
The successful candidate will be required to:
+ Serve as an IPF operator to conduct irradiation activities and to provide technical support for associated electro/mechanical systems.
+ Assist in fabricating, installing, maintaining, and repairing electro-mechanical systems critical to the operation of the Isotope Production Facility.
+ Support scheduled after hours on-call periods, requiring a 45 minute call-in response time.
+ Assist with target loading and shipping operations including receiving and maintaining a CDL driver's license with HAZMAT endorsement.
+ With consideration of ALARA, work in high radiation areas with contaminated and activated items, including work requiring respiratory protection.

+ Experience with installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment, pneumatic or hydraulic systems, and/or control systems.

**Additional Details**
**Directive 206.2** - Employment with Triad requires a favorable decision by NNSA indicating employee is suitable under NNSA Supplemental Directive 206.2. **Clearance: Q** (Position will be cleared to this level). Selected applicants will be subject to a background investigation conducted by or on behalf of the Federal Government, and must meet eligibility requirements* for access to classified matter. This position requires a Q clearance. and obtaining such clearance requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Dependent upon the position, additional authorization to access classified information may be required, which may or may not be available to dual citizens. **New-Employment Drug Test:** The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing. Although New Mexico and other states have legalized the use of marijuana, use and possession of marijuana remain illegal under federal law. A positive drug test for marijuana will result in termination of employment, even if the use was pre-offer.
**Regular position:** Term status Laboratory employees applying for regular-status positions are converted to regular status.
**Internal Applicants:** Regular appointment employees who have served the required period of continuous service in their current position are eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory. **JOB SUMMARY:**
Assist with maintaining system integrity of material requirements and replenishments, optimizing inventory levels, production capacity, and material management.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Following MDIs and Standard Work Instructions, performs a variety of analytical duties to determine material requirements and approve demand/supply for raw material, purchased and manufactured materials.
+ Determines MRP policies and maintains inputs for material ordering and control.
+ Releases replenishments and drives requirements through the MRP system.
+ Utilizes bills of materials, master schedules, production schedules, after market forecasts, manufacturing planning, engineering information, and departmental guidelines to determine adequate material quantities for assurance of on time supply to the customer.
+ Reviews engineering, engineering changes, planning and quality information for adjustment to production orders as required.
+ Analyzes shortage information to determine cause and applies corrective action for long term shortage resolution. Coordinate frequently with PC&L, Tooling, Supply Chain, Operations, Master Scheduling, Engineering, Manufacturing Planning, and After Market to obtain and provide information. May require activities in support of shop floor control.
+ May participate in area team walks and continuous improvement activities as required.
