**Job Purpose**
The Production Assistant plays a key role in the planning, scheduling, and distribution of domestic customer orders by executing the SAP Delivery Processor function. This position also supports inventory control through the SAP ICC role, ensuring accurate and timely completion of inventory cycle counts for all materials. Serving as the primary point of contact for customer order-related issues at the facility, the Production Assistant is responsible for maintaining and updating company systems with accurate, real-time information. This role requires frequent internal and external communication to ensure seamless coordination and execution of daily operational goals.
**How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities)**
+ Respond to incoming calls and gate traffic; greet and check in/out visitors, verify credentials, direct individuals appropriately, and answer general questions or route inquiries to the correct contact.
+ Order and issue purchase orders (POs) for materials including pallets, labels, stretch film, and other indirect components. Collaborate with vendors and corporate accounts payable to ensure accurate billing, resolve PO issues, and respond to vendor inquiries.
+ Monitor timekeeping system for discrepancies and ensure employee hours are submitted correctly. Process weekly payroll, assist employees with payroll-related questions, and serve as the primary point of contact for time entry issues.
+ Enter receipts into SAP for miscellaneous components, monitor data accuracy, and resolve any accounts payable issues related to vendor invoices.
