Job Details

Responsibilities:

General maintenance duties such as replacing valves and pumps, motors, gear reducers.
Experience with equipment packaging equipment (labelers, rotary and in-line filler, in-line cappers, jet printers, cartoner's, bundlers, sleevers, heat tunnels and case sealers)
Disassembly and assembly of electric motors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Repair machinery and conveyor belts
Basic electrical knowledge
Maintains technical and professional knowledge
Perform miscellaneous duties as required for plant maintenance
Basic machinist experience using lathe and mill is a plus

Requires Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the cosmetics, food or pharmaceutical industry
Must be able to communicated in English
An in-depth, detailed knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical process.
Ability to read and work from prints, both mechanical and electrical.
Has the knowledge and skill to use a variety of hand and power tools as well as shop tools.
Analytically oriented to troubleshoot and establish root cause of problems.
Willing to work overtime and be on call for off-hours emergencies.
Must have own tools
Bilingual English/Spanish helpful but not mandatory

**Responsibilities for a Quality Control Technician include but are not limited to:**
+ Perform inspections and tests on finished goods and components, including physical and chemical analyses.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and inspection reports in compliance with internal procedures.
+ Support calibration and maintenance of lab equipment to ensure proper functionality.
+ Manage samples per protocol-labeling, storing, and disposing as necessary.
+ Adhere strictly to SOPs, GMPs, and safety guidelines.
+ Report deviations and collaborate across QC, production, and other departments.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in QC processes.
+ Assist with general lab duties (lifting/sorting boxes, cleaning, etc.).
**Candidates for Quality Control Technician must meet the following requirements to be considered:**
+ Proven ability to follow protocols and work in a regulated environment.
+ Basic knowledge of lab equipment and documentation standards.
+ Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
+ Willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting or sorting materials.

**Pay Details:** $26.51 per hour
