Job Summary:
The Process Lead is responsible for improving and standardizing production performance through a positive, safety, efficient, and quality-focused work environment. The Process Lead is responsible for the assigned lines and Zone's process analysis and optimization, including but not limited to: downtime, mechanical failures, operator and crew skills, quality issues, and scrap through project management. The Process Lead will make necessary operational improvements across all three shifts while maintaining a safe workspace.
Responsibilities of the Position:
Employee Safety
- Communicate safety as the number one priority for employees by encouraging safe work practices and immediately addressing safety concern
- Observe and implement safety corrections on assigned lines
- Train employees to work in safe manner
Production Efficiency
- Responsible for the assigned line(s) budgeted performance
- Maintain and publishing OEE and line performance metrics
- Maintain White Boards displaying KPI metrics at the line, including downtime paretos
- Trend and report analysis of performance
- Identify opportunities for improvement and take ownership of actions
- Responsible for reporting and documenting any changes made to the machines (based on item running) that have proven to improve efficiency
- Maintain and publish an active action register of tasks to meet KPIs, with priorities, owners, due dates, etc.
- Follow up with responsible parties to complete assigned tasks
- Escalate to management if tasks are incomplete by the due date
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with Dozuki software
- Review and train SOPs with responsible work (Production, Maintenance, etc.)
- Analyze scrap and create actionable tasks to meet annual KPIs
- Capture and analyze data to optimize and standardize machine setup, including but not limited to recipes, best practices, and material changes
Production Duties
- Support a clean production floor with equipment, pallets, and personnel in proper positions
- Monitor and revise 6S areas
- Monitor scrap and overfill
- Track and audit machine settings / speeds
- Participate in site DMS meetings
- Primarily work their scheduled shifts but will come in early or stay late as needed to support all shifts, including some work on weekends as needed
- Responsible for selecting and training production team on all three shifts to ensure world class performance
- Be available to communicate with and support all shifts throughout the day as necessary
Collaboration with other Departments
- Work together with personnel in various operations departments to ensure the production floor runs safely and efficiently
- Maintenance
- Responsible for ensuring that the lines are in perfect mechanical condition
- Enter maintenance work orders for any mechanical issues
- Follow up and escalate with management if maintenance work orders are not completed to satisfaction
- Suggest changes to the PM plan to maintenance management to decrease mechanical breakdowns
- Responsible for coordinating and partnering with maintenance on setting up the machine
- Quality
- Responsible for all quality related issues on the lines
- Responsible for root cause analysis (within one week of incident)
- State corrective actions to prevent condition in the future (within one week of incident)
- Changing written process procedures to permanently prevent future incidents (within one week of incident)
Employee Management
- Maintain a positive work environment to ensure creative werks is the employer of choice for all employees
- Supervise activities of team leaders/operators and line workers and report issues to supervisors
- Continually coach and train team leaders and operators and line workers in new procedures and skills
- Report disciplinary issues with employees to Production Supervisor
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Basic math/mechanical aptitude
- Basic statistical analysis and problem-solving skills required
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, in writing and verbally
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred but not required
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED with 4 years experience, or Bachelors degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, problem solving, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing preferred

- Ability to work between an office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 - 80 degrees

The Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting in all aspects of daily production and repairs at the Industrial Equipment Service Center (IESC). This position will oversee all duties surrounding RFQ builds, Quotes for repairs, general repairs, branding, quality control, shop safety and cleanliness. 12 HOUR ROTATING 3-2-2 SCHEDULE WITH EVERY OTHER WEEKEND OFF
Summary:
The Shift Leader will oversee the production of all finished product under the direction of the Operations Excellence Production Manager. The Shift Leader is responsible for all actions related to production on the designated assigned shift. All actions must go through the Shift Leader on the production floor. The Shift Leader is responsible for reporting any and all food safety and quality hazards or concerns that may occur throughout the shift to the Management Team.
Responsibilities:
The Shift Leader key responsibilities and job tasks include but are not limited to:
· Review Process Lead daily documentation for any mechanical problems, documentation errors and discuss with the Process Leader during shift pass down meetings.
· Review production run schedule for correct code dates, packaging to be used, and products coming up on the schedule throughout the shift. Verify all code dates are correct and review with Wrap Process Lead.
· Complete Pre-Flight / Pre-Operational Inspections as required at all start-up events throughout the shift as they occur.
· Complete Shut-Down Checklists as required at shut-down events throughout the shift as they occur.
· Make a plan for the day’s activities (pan changes, extra cleaning, cross training, etc.)
· Walk the entire bakery at the beginning of the shift to identify any issues with the following:
o Cleanliness and organization of each area of the facility
o All processing equipment machine guarding is in place as required
o Associates are following all GMP’s
o All aisleways and fire exits are unobstructed as required
o All secondary drums, containers and spray bottles are properly labeled with contents
o Employees are being productive and working in a safe manner
· Review all dough schedules and mixer documentation paying close attention to the following:
o Dough temperatures when exiting the mixer
o Dough water temperatures being used
o Current mix time and mix times on all mixes completed throughout the shift
· Periodically, the Shift Leader verifies temperatures being recorded at the mixer and various other control points to ensure temperatures are being recorded accurately and in real time.
· Watch an entire dough mix from start to finish, looking at the clean-up time and dough development. For proper dough development, dough should be able to stretch slowly without tearing or stretching too quickly. Find the target gluten window for products made throughout the shift.
· Oversee Pan-O-Mat operations by verifying the following:
o Correct count of dough balls being ran on the rounder belt
o All vacuum points turned on and operational
o Correct amount of flour dusting on dough balls exiting the pan-o-mat
o Dough ball weights are within the target range
o Divider speed is correct for the product being produced
o Flutter bars properly adjusted
o Dough pieces properly sheeted and panning correctly in alignment with the pan
o All documentation being completed correctly and in real time
· Ensure the topping / seeder hopper is filled and/or ready for the next product requiring topping or seeding throughout the shift
· Scan the entire proofer oven panel to verify all controls are within the target range
· Verify internal product temperatures at the proofer and oven discharge. Product internal temperature target is 202 degrees F when exiting the oven. Too high of an internal temperature will produce a dry product. If internal temperatures do not meet the target range, oven bake times and temperatures should be adjusted.
· Ensure all air jets are positioned properly and operating with optimal air pressure. An improperly positioned air jet blowing directly on the product causes cracks, holes, and damages to finished product.
· Inspect the depanner to verify correct vacuum setting, height setting, discharge height setting and speed setting. Good, quality product can be damaged from improper depanner settings.
· Verify metal detectors on each production line every 4 hours of the shift to ensure all metal detector wands are effectively detected and rejected and the correct program and settings are being used.
· Review wrap area operations starting at the metal detector to ensure the following:
o Finished products are flowing smoothly and evenly to indexing
o Baggers are operating in auto and at the correct speed
o Finished product packaging is not too tight around finished products (vacuum is working correctly)
o Finished product codes are correct, legible, correct height and spacing
o All Quality Control Point (QCP) quality checks are being completed as required and are within specification
o Pattern former is placing finished products neatly and undamaged into trays
o The basket loader is lowering smoothly and not bouncing finished product out of the proper position into trays
o Tray stacker is operating properly
· Ensure all shipping docks and man doors are closed if not in use to prevent unauthorized access to the facility.
· Ensure the door to the compactor room is closed and locked as required.
· Verify all production related documentation from the shift including:
o Daily logs are informative, accurate and complete
o Employee warnings and disciplinary documentation is completed and turned into Human Resources
o Production schedules are reviewed weekly to ensure proper coverage.
o Pre-Shift meetings completed daily and turned into the Operations Excellence Production Manager
o Payroll adjustments completed correctly and turned in promptly (vacation requests, personal holidays, perfect attendance days) to the Operations Excellence Production Manager
o Yields are correct for each production run
o Waste numbers should balance accurately. Any large discrepancies must be investigated and the Operations Excellence Production Manager notified
o All broken blades that occur throughout the shift are properly handled, investigated and documented on required documentation
o Production runs with large waste / damage must be explained on the Shift Report and sent to the Management Team
o Breakdown events are properly reported in the Shift Report and sent to the Management Team
· Verify incoming flour deliveries that may occur throughout the shift.
· Complete all required bulk flour delivery documentation as required.
· Any other task as assigned by the Management Team

Collaboration with other Departments
- Work together with personnel in various operations departments to ensure the production floor runs safely and efficiently
- Maintenance
- Responsible for ensuring that the lines are in perfect mechanical condition
- Enter maintenance work orders for any mechanical issues
- Follow up and escalate with management if maintenance work orders are not completed to satisfaction
- Suggest changes to the PM plan to maintenance management to decrease mechanical breakdowns
- Responsible for coordinating and partnering with maintenance on setting up the machine
- Quality
- Responsible for all quality related issues on the lines
- Responsible for root cause analysis (within one week of incident)
- State corrective actions to prevent condition in the future (within one week of incident)
- Changing written process procedures to permanently prevent future incidents (within one week of incident)
Employee Management
- Maintain a positive work environment to ensure creative werks is the employer of choice for all employees
- Supervise activities of team leaders/operators and line workers and report issues to supervisors
- Continually coach and train team leaders and operators and line workers in new procedures and skills
- Report disciplinary issues with employees to Production Supervisor
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Basic math/mechanical aptitude
- Basic statistical analysis and problem-solving skills required
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, in writing and verbally
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred but not required
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED with 4 years experience, or Bachelors degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, problem solving, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing preferred
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work between an office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 – 80 degrees
- This position may required the employee to work weekends or shifts other than their own to meet the needs of the business

The Process/Production Engineer is primarily responsible for clarifying aircraft engine repair work scopes and associated work instructions to the Operations Department. These engineers will perform a technical advisory role in the dis-assembly, repair, assembly, and testing of jet engines. The Production Engineer will support other functions within the Engine Center to include Materials, Quality, and Accounts Management when routine technical questions and issues that may arise in the day to day function of the Engine Center.
**What You Will Do:**
1. Support Operations in solving any assembly/configuration/inspection problems.
2. Clarify aircraft engine repair work scopes and associated work instructions to the Operations Department.
3. Provide timely responses to Customer and Engineering Technical Questions.
4. Do appropriate research, supporting and advising other functional areas regarding technical issues related to quality, operations processes, materials and customer support.
5. Seek opportunities to reduce costs and increase quality and efficiency through the use of new materials, processes or technology.
6. Assist with implementation of new materials, processes or technology.
7. Assist mechanics and inspectors in troubleshooting technical issues.
8. Ensure that operations are implementing standardization of processes between shifts.
9. Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
10. Support invoice & cost reduction activities.
11 Participate in failure investigations and Problem resolution boards.
12. Be a source of in-depth technical knowledge on the repair and test of Gas Turbines
13. History of exemplary responsiveness to Customer Issues and Team Assignments
14. Work to support weekend shift operations
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and 2 years of aircraft engine repair or aerospace field
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Component Repair, engine test, engine assembly, disassembly or FAA interface preferred

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
