**Job Summary:**
The production scheduling manager oversees one or more facilities, product lines and teams. Supervises, schedules, coordinates, and controls the production schedules; reviews and manages the production process efficiency and quality.
**What you will do:**
+ Analyzing and troubleshooting planned production scheduling problems; recommending process improvements to optimize the team efficiency and scheduling process.
+ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve product-related issues and incorporate customer and business requirements.
+ Directing complex production schedules; reviewing workflow of production workers, inventory levels, capacity constraints, machine breakdowns, product quality, etc. to ensure operational excellence.
+ Provides inputs to the Sales and Operations Planning cycle, including supply commitments based on overall capacity in the supply chain.
+ Managing Production Planning & Scheduling for the Griffin Electric Power Division (EPD) and up to eight Packaging Suppliers.
+ Running daily reports, perform V-Lookups, and update Power BI dashboards.
+ Using order management system to pull new customer orders.
+ Updating all required information to ensure orders contain the correct shipping information
**What you will have:**
+ **Planning: Tactical, Strategic:** Extensive Experience and knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

+ **Forecasting:** Extensive experience and knowledge of forecasting tools, approaches and practices; ability to determine product demand and estimate production requirements and loads.
+ **Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP):** Extensive, SME-level knowledge of the processes, practices and systems used in manufacturing requirements planning (MRP); ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability.
+ **Production Scheduling and Control:** Expert knowledge of procedures and tools for scheduling and controlling production runs; ability to utilize knowledge of daily manufacturing processes to assure quality deliverables. Superior organization, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail to drive accuracy in data entry and schedule maintenance.

**Primary Responsibilities**
+ _Lead and develop the Production Scheduling Team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence._

The primary responsibility of the **Manager, CAR-T Production Scheduling** is to manage a production planning and operations scheduling team across an entire value stream (end-to-end) for one of the CAR-T products manufactured in Summit, NJ. The role will require significant collaboration across internal and external functions to ensure on-time manufacturing and fulfillment of final product. Ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to balance multiple competing priorities, triage and prioritize unplanned events that impact production, manage a very dynamic production schedule, and lead a small 24/7/365 team of production scheduling staff.
**Shifts Available:**
+ Monday - Friday, Onsite Day Shift, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead a team of approximately 3-4 direct reports (Specialist level) that provide 24/7/365 production planning and scheduling coverage to Manufacturing Operations
+ Oversee the scheduling of discrete patient lots week to week as provided by Strategic plan
+ Provide input to strategic plan through communication of value stream needs including but not limited to shutdowns, validation activities, equipment PM's etc.
+ Oversee the day-to-day interface between stakeholders, available equipment, personnel, and production scheduling
+ Oversee the relationship between scheduling and training dept resulting in the population of daily schedule that includes training activities
+ Effectively collaborate with manufacturing personnel to manage downtime, delays and other short-term scheduling impacts
+ Building and guiding team to mitigate day to day scheduling conflicts through immediate action and long-term mitigation through CI or Standard Work
+ Identify and partner with necessary cross functional resources to automate or integrate scheduling functions into existing or newly created tools
+ Act as Key point of contact and primary contributor to non-routine scheduling event (i.e., launches, shutdowns, process changes, etc.)
+ Work closely with value stream support teams to aid in the scheduling and implementation of process improvements
+ Contribute to and maintain KPI's related to scheduling and process performance
+ Develop and implement tools required to actively manage the material readiness
+ Develop and maintain media production schedule and inventory status
+ Evaluate and implement changes to steady state schedule to maximize asset utilization
+ Develop and support implementation of steady state and ramp schedules

Summit West - NJ - US: $97,370 - $117,987
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. **Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)** has an exciting opportunity for an **Integrated Planning and Scheduling Manager** (Level K) to join the **Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers** (MS&B) **Production Scheduling** team in **Tukwila, WA** !

**Position Responsibilities:**

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**

**What You Will Do**

HII-Mission Technologies is looking for a Manager Production Planning and Scheduler 1 (MPPS1) to provide leadership for HII- Mission Technologies' CEMAT Mechanical Group. The Manager Production Planning and Scheduler 1 requires knowledge of work practices within the Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) to support CEMAT's work package. The selected candidate will interface with upper management, government representatives, Ship's Force management, NNS, and various other group that help support CEMAT's work package and established expectation of their tasks. The position will perform day-to-day management of the CEMAT Mechanical Group, ensuring work gets accomplished according to procedures both quality and technical as well as also develop day-to-day, long term and strategic objectives to ensure that CEMAT stays on track in the RCOH to complete it assigned work package.
What You Will Do
+ Overseeing and managing all aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison working with all levels of management including outside entities (AIT, NNS, Ship's Force) and the project team.

Raytheon has an opportunity for a Production Control Scheduling Specialist in the Andover, Ma, Mission Components work center. The successful candidate has a working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizes data-driven decision making to enable effective material and workforce forecasting. This role requires successful daily interaction with cross functional teams, programs, and business units to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include Production Control, Planning, Operations, Quality, and Manufacturing/Test/Design Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain, Finance, and Maintenance Operations.
**What You Will Do**
+ Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting
+ Provide production floor support including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work in Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas, completion of units in shop floor and MRP system, delivery to next step (inventory or shipment), and meeting MRP schedule
+ Maintaining integrity of the shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems through key performance metrics
+ This will be an onsite role in our Portsmouth, RI facility.
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years relevant experience.
+ Experience to include planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, project management or a related field.
+ Experience with MRP and/or SAP
+ Ability to obtain Interim (Clearance Level) U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean or six sigma project implementations.
+ Experience with Wave track and in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
