**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Responsible for eliminating safety incidents, improving package quality, improving equipment efficiency, and developing leadership capability and morale on a production line.
+ Responsible for developing and executing action plans and utilizing Shift Handoffs, Daily Results Reviews, and Weekly Results Reviews to deliver results.
+ Responsible for developing associates to prevent and solve problems.
+ Responsible for ensuring that company policies, quality procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMPs) including HACCP, NQS, SSOP, FTQ are understood and followed by associates.
+ Responsible for ensuring that productivity goals are achieved and setting direction for the team to accomplish these goals.
+ Responsible for performing daily and weekly planning to assure that the scheduling of ingredients, personnel, and products are utilized in the most cost efficient manner.
+ Responsible for communicating with other shifts any information that might aid the production/EPSU personnel on those shifts.
+ Responsible for data entry/administration and data accuracy using SAP systems

**REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:**
+ B.S. Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration or related field _preferred_
+ TPM experience, CIL experience is _preferred._
+ Problem solving and root cause analysis experience is _preferred._
**EXPERIENCE:**
+ 2 plus years' experience as a Production Supervisor or a Production Lead in a manufacturing environment, _preferred_

**Responsibilities**
The Production Supervisor will be the primary person on shift for the coordination of activities and workers engaged in the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to safety procedures, production schedules, and quality standards. This role reports to the production manager and is accountable for the safety of all associated employees, as well as managing the production and quality of the manufacturing product. Key functions include:
+ The safety of all employees on their shift, ensuring that employees understand and work according to Plant Safety Rules.
+ Provides shift leadership and supervision to the individual shifts to support Injection Molding processes to meet production goals.
+ Ensures that all key productivity, scrap, and downtime metrics are achieved to plan.
+ Provides site leadership in the absence of production management.
+ Provides key problem solving and resolution actions.
+ Adheres to and maintains good manufacturing practices coupled with quality plan expectations.
Responsibilities:
+ Accountable for the safety of all employees through engagement in safety activities, and provides clear, consistent communication of safe work expectations.
+ Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, and applicable laws.
+ Actively leads risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility by driving preventive actions to eliminate/reduce environmental, health or safety risks.

**Qualifications**
**Education:**
Prefer a Business, Operations Management, or Engineering degree, however will consider relevant experience.
**Technical Skills:**
Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and leadership to peers and subordinates
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
Flexibility to work some overtime, as necessary
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and computer operations.
**Experience:**
3-5 years production supervision experience in a high volume-manufacturing environment.

**POSITION SUMMARY:**
Supervises employees who plan raw materials & packaging purchases to support plant production. Develops the detailed production schedule (DPS) for the plant. Checks actual against scheduled production. Alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions/events. Ensures maximum use of available capacity and effective use of labor, tools and equipment. Meets the production requirements for finished products as determined by the MPS plan. Responsible for maintaining raw material inventory within budgeted guidelines and have a JIT approach to material deliveries.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Create a workable monthly production schedule for the plant each month, maximizing opportunities to decrease plant cost per case and improve the plant's operating efficiency
+ Supervise the workgroup by providing direction, priorities and training and managing departmental staffing issues
+ Optimize cost for the factory and for Supply Chain using NCE/LEAN tools and processes
+ Act as a liaison between the plant and Division Supply Chain in determining the best solutions for the company in regard to the production plan
+ Manage and monitor inventory of raw material and packaging and ensure that all commodities are available and meet production needs
+ Manage crisis situations that are due to raw material rejections/holds, late deliveries, vendor shorts, staffing problems, weather, etc. Provide direction on production priorities to plant management when these occur
+ Communicate Globe master data requirements to pertinent groups to ensure that production timelines are met
+ Ensure all manufacturing procedures comply with government and Nestle standards for food safety and quality
+ Maintain SAP APO, & OMP master data to ensure system integrity
+ Publish: Detailed Production Schedule, Schedule Changes shutdown priorities when required, and e-mails that are required to ensure that all plant operating groups are aware of production changes, limitations, abnormal events, etc.
+ Communicate with all plant and divisional groups as well as vendors in an effective manner regarding production needs, problems and issues
+ Other duties as assigned
**REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:**
+ BA / BS Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain or related degree preferred
**EXPERIENCE:**
+ 3 years progressive experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment
+ Previous supervisory/people leader responsibilities preferred
+ Firm understanding of manufacturing production and distribution processes
+ Good understanding of manufacturing and logistic processes
+ Experience in the food processing, aseptic or pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred
+ Good working knowledge of OMP
+ Experience in production scheduling, material handling, and/or supply chain management
+ Factory master data management
+ Prior experience negotiating with vendors
