Ensure that employees are adequately trained to maximize efficiency in seafood cuts and production. Regularly monitor cut yields to align with profit objectives while organizing daily and upcoming production tasks. Oversee the preparation of raw materials and cutting tickets to ensure smooth operations. Follow FIFO (first-in, first-out) procedures for seafood storage in the cooler and freezer. Verify product processing aligns with customer specifications, and keep buyers and sales teams informed about quality issues, shrinkage, shortages, and inventory updates. Maintain cleanliness and organization in cooler and processing areas, confirm product weights, and make reasonable product substitutions as needed while communicating changes effectively. Collaborate with the Food Safety Compliance Administrator to adhere to good production practices and meet HACCP, FDA, GMP, and OSHA standards, including daily paperwork checks.
**Responsibilities**

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Production Supervisor is to support the Production & Packing Team Members and to facilitate and to drive product output through the Packing Lines. The focus is to facilitate the work of each Operations Team (Packing and Production.) This position does not set the schedule for these teams but works intimately with the Operations Management to communicate a clear understanding of what goals need to be met. Goals are achieved when this person maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process, appraising job results, and recommending/making necessary changes. The role is expected to lead by example and to coach, mentor, and develop employee. This position reports to the Production Manager and will assist/contribute to initiating, coordinating and enforcing company policies and procedures in coordination with Human Resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILTIES (including but not limited to):
- Responsible for production output goals
- Manage the hourly team members for the Packing and Production Teams
- Effectively work with Team Leaders and their teams to achieve their output goals for the day, week and month.

Knowledge of food safety, quality, productivity, & sanitation processes.
Computer skills including MS Office
Ability to lead a team
Ability to thrive in a fast growth high-pressure environment
Excellent communication skills
Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are required.

What will your typical day look like?
* Provide direction and support for an assigned hourly production team encompassing EHS, Quality, Process, Material, Delivery.

**Position Summary:**
Provides direction and leadership for site manufacturing activities to achieve safety, cost, quality and delivery goals. - Drives Lean Daily Management System (LDMS) Cadence to achieve operational excellence
- Establish metrics & goals: visible and understood
- Execute based on metrics (daily/weekly/monthly),
- Daily management of escalation and problem solving, including support resources
- Utilizing Capacity/Load targets, develop/execute staffing/scheduling plans, adjusting to a daily/weekly/monthly cadence

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements** **:**
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Intermediate computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, utilizing MRP systems, data mining & report generation)
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree
- Manufacturing experience (CNC, Conventional & Auxiliary equipment), or similar business experiences
- Previous formal leadership roles or experiences
