Summary Description:
Direct the production workers in their respective shop floor tasks on their own shift to ensure that production meets or exceeds efficiency, timeliness, and quality standards. Must be Bilingual
Essential Functions:
Oversee the workers who report to them to ensure they are engaged, working productively on task, and meeting the goals of the organization
Provide positive reinforcement, constructive feedback, and discipline as needed to develop employees and maintain respect on the floor
Perform annual performance appraisals on all direct reports
Actively promote and ensure a safe working environment in their respective areas, and that employees are working safely
Provide training on production/shop floor tasks for new employees and refresher training as needed to meet company expectations; use written training documents to assure consistent training
Develop production plans for effective use of equipment and employees to assure product flows according to company goals and expectations
Assure the quality of work in their area meets expectations
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Keep the outside of the building organized and clear of clutter
Develop and execute plans for their employees to care for equipment in their areas, monitor performance, and notify maintenance when additional attention is needed; follow up with maintenance as needed to assure effective equipment performance
Perform employee shift meetings at least every other week on a routine schedule
Implement continuous improvement on the shop floor
Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned

Must be computer literate, organized, and have leadership skills.
Other Position Demands or Requirements:
Must have excellent people skills and respect for those around them. Must have the desire to be a continual learner.

**The Job:**
As a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor, you'll be part of our manufacturing team working as an onsite employee. You'll get to:
+ Maintains production records for production counts and standard hours.
+ Enforces safe working environments and activities.
+ Supervises all employees in the manufacturing departments.
+ Interface with other Supervisors to ensure efficient operations between shifts.
+ Responsible for managing requirements, training and talent development, goal attainment, and continuous improvement within these areas.
+ Responsible for adhering/enforcing to all company rules: TS16949, Quality guidelines, and HR published procedures.
+ Owns responsibility for production runs, proper change over procedures, quality of product, and maximizing the production area's full potential.
+ Reports immediately to the Plant Manager any difficulties arising due to conditions of machines or employee actions.
+ Sets up and assign personnel to specific jobs according to scheduling requirements.
