Operations Supervisor
The Hotel Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations and ensuring a seamless guest experience, with a primary focus on training and supporting front desk staff. This role requires hands-on operational knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to serve as Manager on Duty during weekends.
What You'll Do:
Supervise, train, and mentor front desk and operations staff (team of 5), ensuring adherence to Marriott brand standards and property procedures.
Conduct primary training on hotel systems, including Marriott property systems and LightSpeed/Power GXP, to ensure staff proficiency and operational consistency.
Work alongside staff on downtime shifts, including mid-shift front desk coverage on weekends when serving as Manager on Duty.
Understand operations across all hotel departments to support problem-solving and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
Foster a positive, upbeat, and empathetic environment for both staff and guests.
Monitor property compliance with safety, health, and brand standards.
Assist with scheduling, coaching, and performance management to maintain a stable, high-performing team.
Act as a key point of contact for staff or guest concerns, providing timely solutions and escalating issues when needed.
About You:
Minimum of 2 years of hotel operations experience, with Marriott branded properties.
Hands-on experience with hotel systems (LightSpeed and/or Empower GXP preferred).
Demonstrated leadership skills, including staff training, mentoring, and team development.
Stable work history with no job-hopping concerns.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an upbeat and empathetic approach.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and serving as Manager on Duty.
Knowledge of front desk operations and general property management.
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management preferred.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as throughput, accuracy, and on-time shipments.
  • Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of warehouse associates.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse equipment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed.
