**The Role at a glance:**
We are looking to add a skilled production worker to our Trio Community Meals team in New Haven, CT. As a production worker, you will have the opportunity to produce food products for service across your area.
**What you'll be doing:**
+ Receiving training in all areas of production, including line supply, pulling supply, adding or filling manufacturing line, and packaging.
+ Manufacturing and assembling frozen and fresh food products.
+ Performing assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
+ Performing any specified quality assurance checks designated for each job, function, or assignment.
+ Observing proper manufacturing practices and policies.

We are seeking a dedicated general production workers and material handlers on 2nd and 3rd shift to join our Operations Team in Southington, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and safely operating bar saws to cut materials as per customer orders or using forklift to move product.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prioritize safety in all tasks.
+ Organize work orders for efficient material processing.
+ Transport materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts and cranes.
+ Set up machines by selecting the appropriate nozzles, and setting speeds and feeds.
+ Measure materials using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
+ Verify that the source material processed is from the correct location and is the correct material.
+ Conduct first piece and in-process inspections according to quality sampling plans.
+ Stack and sort finished products for packaging.
+ Pack and protect materials for shipment.
+ Clean saws according to maintenance procedures.
+ Perform additional warehouse duties as directed by the supervisor.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, and forklift operation.
+ Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
+ Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred.
+ High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
+ History of working safely and productively.
+ Attention to detail and ability to read and understand English instructions.
+ Basic math skills to convert decimals and fractions and to use tape measures and calipers accurately.
+ Dependable, punctual, and capable of working well with others.
+ Willingness to work required overtime.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous machining or related experience is strongly preferred.
+ Open to cross-training and taking on any necessary tasks.
