The Production Planning Manager is responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality composite products. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, quality assurance, and logistics, to achieve operational efficiency and meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Scheduling:
- Work with Program Management to maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate unforeseen disruptions or changes in priorities.
- Materials Management:
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Process Coordination:
- Collaborate with production supervisors and team leads to ensure workflows align with schedules.
- Identify and address potential bottlenecks in the production process.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Track production metrics and analyze performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular production status reports to management.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Act as the primary liaison between production, sales, and customer service teams to provide updates on order status.
- Communicate schedule changes and their impact to all relevant stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Participate in lean manufacturing and other efficiency-focused initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in production planning or a related role, preferably in a composite manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials planning, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across departments.
- Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate and address production challenges.
Employment Requirements
• High School diploma or higher, Business Degree preferred and 5+ years of industry experience.

Essential Physical Requirement:
Working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, you will be walking, standing and engaging in movement throughout the day, and occasionally to frequently be required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. - Ensure OLVIMS-Dispatch and DPAS data integrity (work orders, labor/materials, parts accountability)
- Coordinate workforce access/badging; ensure safety, environmental, and information-assurance compliance
- Support limited evening/weekend exercises (7-10/yr)
- 5+ years leading fleet maintenance (military base, municipal, or commercial) with production control responsibility
- Working knowledge of AFI 24-302, TO 36-1-191, and maintenance KPIs
- Hands-on experience with CMMS tools (ideally OLVIMS-Dispatch / DPAS)
- U.S. work authorization; CAC/base access eligibility; valid driver's license

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing laboratory personnel and maintaining the laboratory to ensure all products and procedures meet the requirements of 21CFR210, 21CFR211, Regulatory Agencies, and customer expectations.

- Maintain the laboratory quality management system to ensure compliance with cGMP.
- Audit the Quality Control Laboratory to ensure compliance to SOP's.
