What You Will Do In Your Role
- Operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment by following work instructions
- Understand and follow plant safety rules, and always work safely
- Ensure quality product is sent to customers by completing quality checks
- Maintain general housekeeping in work areas, break rooms, and rest rooms
- Participate in setting team goals and managing job assignments
- Drive and meet quality standards
- Responsible for plant and departmental goals for quality, productivity, and safety
- Develop and enhance job skills and knowledge throughout all production areas of the plant

- One (1) or more years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion
- Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures & perform work indoors/outdoors as needed

- Conduct daily shift meetings.
- Review Hourly Registration at each machine for completion and reacts to deviations; based on deviations on Hourly Registration board initiate actions to ensure production targets
are met.
- Works with material handlers and/or support teams to ensure material availability to support
flow and production.
- Support, identify, plan, and execute improvements ideas by mentoring and teaching fellow
employees.
- Manages daily planned production and keeps visual management boards updated.
- Ensures prioritization of tasks in cooperation with the team.
- Review and monitor inventory levels to support 100% achievement of daily schedule
completion.
- Communicate with other shifts to ensure a smooth transition from one shift to another.
- Work closely with area supervisor, maintenance, and support functions to ensure issues are escalated
and addressed efficiently to support goals.
- Support supervisor by keeping them aware of any issues or potential issues regarding
manufacturing, personnel, and product.
- Maintain orderly and organized work areas in accordance with 5S+ standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement processes (RCPS, 4-steps, 8D's as well as
kaizen/continuous improvement events).
- Uphold strict compliance with all Danfoss and production floor policies.
- Responsible for end of shift reports and communications.
- Responsible for stepping in the supervisor's role as needed.
- Required to work overtime including coming in before and staying past normal shift hours.
- Flexibility to work different shifts when needed.
