About This Role:
As a key member of the manufacturing team, this role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment in the production of insulation. Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining smooth operations by communicating regularly about packaging supply needs, equipment issues, and maintenance requirements. Your proactive approach to safety, quality, and operational excellence will help drive continuous improvement efforts across the plant.
Responsibilities
Operational Communication:
- Regularly communicate with the Shift Supervisor, especially when packaging supplies need replenishing.
- Collaborate with the Shift Supervisor, Cold End Coordinator, and Maintenance teams to address equipment issues and ensure preventative maintenance or repairs are performed promptly.
- Stay informed on plant and safety matters by actively participating in department and plant safety meetings.
- Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and promoting safety awareness.
- Participate in efforts to improve product quality, environmental sustainability, and health & safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and collaborate with the team to implement solutions.

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Operators in the 700 building, focusing on the manufacturing of magnet wire products. This role involves overseeing the entire production process, from handling raw materials to packaging finished products. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless operation of automated machinery while maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
+ Handle raw materials to prepare for production.
+ Load the production line by feeding raw wire as required.
+ Understand specification sheets to set machines when needed.
+ Operate machines and troubleshoot basic issues while monitoring quality via the HMI touchscreen.
+ Pull and document in-process enamel samples by hand.
+ Use overhead cranes to move finished spools of wire.
+ Operate forklifts to store finished products in the warehouse.
+ Maintain attention to detail and cleanliness in a near clean-room environment.
Essential Skills
+ General labor and production experience.
+ Ability to operate a tape measure, forklift, and hand tools.
+ Experience with machine operation, quality inspection, and assembly.
+ Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
+ Ability to read, write, and understand written work orders in English.
+ Capability to work safely and independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction is beneficial.
+ Willingness to be trained on a forklift.
+ Strong tenure at previous employers.
+ Ability to work 12-hour shifts and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr.

The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, including housekeeping, order management, production attainment, and quality standards, while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork.
