Summary:

Under the direction of the Production Manager-New Builds, the incumbent is responsible for building fluid delivery systems for lube vans, liquid bulk tank trucks and trailers, which includes both fabricating and assembling components used in the building process. The incumbent is also responsible for repairing fluid delivery systems.

Essential Job Functions:

Install fluid delivery systems on lube vans, petroleum tank trucks and trailers (40%)

Fabricate components of fluid delivery systems such as meter shelf plates, support brackets, and piping, which involves cutting, bending, welding, and attaching metal and aluminum materials(30%)

Read job orders to determine work to be performed per customer request (10%)

Assemble ready-made and fabricated components to build fluid delivery systems (10%)

Repair fluid delivery systems by replacing malfunctioning parts (10%)

Competencies:

Working knowledge of the proper use, maintenance, and repair of tools used on the job, including hand, electric, pneumatic, gas-welding/cutting tools

Skill to properly operate all tools used in the performance of essential job functions, such as hand/power tools and metal brakes/band saws, with accuracy.

Skill to repair machines or systems using the needed tools

Skill to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job

Familiarity with safety standards common to motor vehicle repair work environments

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, procedures, policies, and regulations such as those found in work orders, work process protocols, and safety manuals

**Responsibilities**
The Production Operator assists in setting up and operating thermoplastic extruders and associated production equipment to convert plastic resins into blown film for flexible plastic sheeting, tubing or bags. Performs manufacturing operations which will result in efficiently producing a flexible product on a timely basis that meets all the customer's product specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follows Amcor's Safety and company policies.
- Reviews Production Order Form specifications to insure the correct equipment, packaging supplies and raw materials are available to produce a product that meets the customer's specifications.
- Assists in performing equipment production setup under the direction of the Lead Operator or his designee. Set ups may include but are not limited to the following production equipment:
- Sets up and controls all aspects of the extruder machine operation.
- Periodically observes and checks finished film coming off the production lines and if detects substandard product takes immediate corrective action to eliminate any causes of sub-standard product.
- Monitors production equipment to insure equipment is operating properly and under supervision of the Lead Operator performs routine maintenance on equipment.
SCHEDULE
- 12 hour shift
- 7pm - 7am or 7pm - 7am / 2 days on 3 off/rotating
- Overtime

The Production Supervisor directly supervises production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas. Assist General Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, onboarding, and dispute resolution of team members. Maintain knowledge of products and current promotions Assist with in-shop accounting functions, including cash handling, completing corporate financial and operational reporting, counting, and depositing revenues, and managing inventory control. Ensure equipment and resources are operational for team member use including production equipment, POS system, retail equipment, drive-thru, and processing equipment. Maintain a high level of shop sanitation and cleanliness. Provide exceptional customer service to guests by nurturing a culture where all people know that their wonderfully original identities are welcomed & loved. Process work orders to assemble ingredients and fabricate finished product
Make adjustments to equipment and minor repairs as needed

Inspect and measure products to verify quality and specifications met
