The job will require the employee to switch between various production job assignments, and all job assignments are subject to rotation. Essential Responsibilities:
The responsibility of the Production Operator can include but not be limited to the following:
+ Operate on the line interacting and cooperating with other team members to complete job tasks on different models of the same product moving along the line.
+ Perform repetitive line assembly operations to assemble product quickly to approved specifications.
+ Apply and follow all standardized work and operating instructions.
+ Utilize wide range of powered-hand tools to assembly check, adjust or repair appliances.
+ Various general assembly activities required including: driving screws and/or assembling other fasteners; applying tape, insulation or other materials; assembling/fastening wire harnesses, terminating wires; checking, adjusting, or repairing sub or final assemblies; testing and/or packaging of sub or final assemblies.
+ Inspect work to verify quality and conformance to required specifications.
+ Complete production and performance by following all policies and practices to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost including, but not limited to: required personal protective equipment, identifying/reporting unsafe working conditions; attention to detail - identifying and reporting quality issues found through in-line checking and reporting of critical appearance defects for resolution.

The CNC Production Operator operates all CNC/manual machining and painting equipment to produce finished goods. This position is responsible for adhering to established production processes to produce quality work that meets customer specifications and for meeting individual production goals. This position is for an 8-hour shift. The starting pay is $23.97 per hour (plus $.00 per hour shift premium if working on 2nd or 3rd shift). The top out is 28.64 per hour. Employees are generally topped out within 1 year. Shifts available are 2nd shift (3p-11p) or 3rd shift (11p-7a). Essential Functions:

• Responsible for general knowledge of any / all job-related machinery, equipment, and work instructions.
• Set up and operate production equipment according to established specifications, adjusting CNC programming as needed
• Calibration and use of measurement equipment
• Utilize production equipment to produce finished goods in accordance with production goals
• Perform hourly quality checks to ensure quality of finished product in accordance with established quality processes and guidelines
• Utilize forklift to move materials and finished goods as needed in the production process

Job Overview & Responsibilities

ULA is looking for an NDT Level II certified Radiography (RT) and Dye Penetrant inspector. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Reading, interpreting and applying NDT specifications and procedures.
• Helping support the build of the next generation of ULA rocket.
• Traveling to ULA launch sites in Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg, along with supplier locations.

• Must have experience as an NDT Level II inspector in Radiography (RT).
• Must have experience with Dye Penetrant.

• Must be capable of reading, interpreting and applying NDT specifications and procedures.
• Must be able to lift and handle hardware and components up to 50lbs.

• Must be familiar with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preference will also be given to prior experience in any of the following: Digital Radiography of weldments, or phased array ultrasonic (PAUT) inspections.
• Two (2) years college training in general science, mathematics, nondestructive testing or computer studies.
• Prior ULA, Lockheed, Boeing NDT Level II certifications in Radiography, Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonics or Eddy Current inspection methods.
• Capable of reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Associates Degree in Aerospace Technology, Welding or Nondestructive testing.
• Associate Degree/Trade School diploma or certificate in Manufacturing Technology or Nondestructive testing.
