Production Technician

As a Production Technician, you will be an essential part of the process of turning raw cannabis flower into our beautiful line of medicated products. Under the guidance of the management team, you will produce, package, and handle products, perform inventory duties, adhere to compliance requirements, and keep safety as your top priority while working daily in our facility. Qualifications

• High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred
• 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing, food processing, warehousing, and/or inventory preferred
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
• Must be able to work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
• Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, and technique
• Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by GTI
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences

Working Conditions

We are looking to hire production associates to assist with the manufacturing of blades for John Deere ag equipment! You'll be integral in the production process, handling tasks from placing blades on conveyor lines to quality inspection.
**Responsibilities**
+ Place blades on conveyor line for processing through oven/furnace.
+ Use hand tools/grabbers to transfer blades to press.
+ Cool blades by placing them in a quench.
+ Hang blades for painting and conduct quality inspections.
+ Prepare items for shipment.
**Essential Skills**
+ General labor experience in production and manufacturing.
+ Proficiency in machine operation and assembly line processes.
+ Strong critical thinking and teamwork abilities.
+ Competence in measuring and attention to detail.

+ Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts, rotating among stations.

Our factory works to do our part to care for the environment, like investing in renewable electricity, conserving water and maintaining zero waste for disposal. Since 1927, it has been home to one of our largest manufacturing facilities. Originally focused on cereal production, the factory transitioned to become a pet food-only manufacturer in the late '90s. As a Production Supervisor, you'll coordinate all first line management functions regarding production planning, production output, equipment maintenance, management of people, quality, safety, and sanitation of the processing and departments. Bring your problem-solving skills to a team driven by Continuous Improvement and a passion to deliver the products the pets love and people can trust.
+ Directly supervise hourly production employees.
+ Be a catalyst for people development through mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
+ Manage the processing or packaging schedule to maximize output while minimizing costs including active participation in problem-solving.
+ Ensure products are produced in compliance with quality key check points and within "Good Manufacturing Practices."
+ Achieve high levels of asset intensity by reducing unplanned stops, speed loss, waste generation, and optimizing planned downtown performance.
+ Increase operating efficiencies and coordinate all activities within maintenance, engineering, and QA to ensure goals are achieved.
+ Lead and coach integrated work groups to achieve results based on the factory's continuous improvement plan.
+ Support safe working environment for all employees.
**Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment
+ 1+ years' leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment preferred
The approximate pay range for this position is $66,000 to $106,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.

As a Production Data Coordinator, you'll conduct studies on material usage and root cause analysis, as well as support annual compliance projects. Use your ability to collaborate to work closely with Manufacturing and Materials Handling teams to support the collection, entry, and reporting of manufacturing records and inventory management functions. You'll make a direct impact on costing, material requirements planning, and performance reporting as you join us in enhancing the lives of pets and pet owners nationwide.
+ Enter and validate production data using SAP, GPMQ, and other warehouse management systems.
+ Analyze, report, and develop action plans to correct production data, including usage transactions, production process errors, and quantity transactions to support manufacturing efficiency.
+ Investigate plant floor process errors to determine root causes using SAP transactional history.
+ Support inventory management teams through materials tracking and inventory oversight.
+ Monitor and reconcile all movement, consumption, and declaration of raw materials/final product documents within the factory.
+ Assist with Period End Close tasks on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
