**Position Overview:**
The Production Supervisor ensures employee safety, product quality, and asset performance while delivering on time against the shift/line/area production plan. This is accomplished by: Leading a team ranging between 20-50 employees; focusing on results to deliver success as measured by the key performance metrics; being the transformational leader that creates a sustainable work environment, where employees feel engaged, loyal, satisfied, and empowered to develop their capabilities and ways of working to exceed their line objectives. The Production Supervisor is ultimately responsible for competency building across their team and to develop the autonomy of the team.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure the timely deployment of people development plan and ensure the competencies of team as per the agreed plan with Sr. Production Manager (proper training inclusive of equipment, safety procedures, and hygiene).
+ Enforce compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all personnel within the team.
+ Ensure a safe work environment is always maintained.
+ Work with team to update work instructions for all available positions.
+ Processes are run in accordance with SOPs, SSOPs, and other documentation.
+ Activities being performed having an environmental impact are communicated and accomplished according to the environmental management.
+ Ensure quality objectives are met, including regular adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), performance of sanitation audits, food safety checks, and product quality checks conducted according to policies.
+ Actively participate in prevention and correction of quality-related errors.
+ Check and enforce personnel hygiene and safety.
+ Ongoing coaching of employees to fulfill and exceed the requirements of the job through TPM implementation.
+ Daily review of achievement of targets and report variances during on-the-floor and review meetings.
+ Ensure the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Facilitate seamless handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members, and site leadership team.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business Management, Food Science, Organizational Leadership/Supervision, or equivalent) preferred.
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
+ Ability to work extended days and/or weekends with flexibility to switch shifts as required.
+ Minimum of two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, technical, military, or related environment required.
+ Experience in a Continuous Improvement environment (lean manufacturing or TPM) preferred.
+ Experience in food processing, packaging, quality, or factory supply chain preferred.
**Skills:**

**POSITION SUMMARY:**
Responsible for providing a short-term finite capacity-constrained production schedule with an optimal, feasible and realistic sequence of materials in accordance with the availability of resources (production lines/labor) and materials. This role should work strategically with production, supply planners, and corporate functional heads to support reducing costs, and realizing optimal inventory levels. This role also shares responsibility with materials scheduling team by owning the planning and management of selective raw and/or packaging materials. Ensure availability of raw/pack materials to support production while minimizing working capital.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Create a feasible production plan within the detailed production scheduling period by shift that takes into consideration available capacity, labor and materials while respecting the product sequencing laid out by the MPS planner and optimizing the factory costs to produce.
+ Review the detailed production schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure it continues to meet business priorities and requirements.
+ Work with factory operations team to identify practical issues that may cause plant shutdowns in the future and relay this information back to master production scheduling for long-term planning of product promotions.
+ Utilize GLOBE and Unison/OMP tools during production scheduling and capacity planning exercises in order to determine the optimal schedule for cost and service.
+ Convert production schedule to process orders for production as required.
+ Publish weekly production schedule to plant, and review all production changes, limitations, priorities to meet customer orders and abnormal events.
+ Provide information in advance detailing swings in labor requirements within the DPS planning horizon.
+ Act as the liaison between the factory and corporate supply chain to properly determine the priorities of the business.
+ Maintain DPS planning master data, performing routine maintenance to ensure system integrity.
+ Ensure production scheduling sequencing complies with government and Nestle standards for food safety and quality while also minimizing changeover costs.
+ Monitor supply signals through the use of MRP purchase requisitions ensuring delivery dates, lead times and required quantities are correct to create purchase orders. Follow-up with suppliers to ensure material fulfillment. Tracking should be completed, and action taken when material unavailability causes a line shut down, and affects eMSA and COF.
+ Engage in LEAN, End to End Value Stream continuous improvement initiatives to improve costs and efficiencies throughout our manufacturing and planning process.
**REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:**
+ BS/BA degree in an Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or Business Management or equivalent experience.
+ 3-5 years experience in manufacturing environment with responsibility for Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
+ Firm understanding of manufacturing and distribution processes.
+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles and processes, and a passion for continuous improvement preferred.
**EXPERIENCE:**

PURPOSE
To perform the packer duties and requirements in a safe, organized, and efficient manner while delighting customers with quality products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure product packaging requirements according to work instructions, specification sheet, and/or quality docket before packing product.
2. Ensure quality checks of the product before being packaged.
3. Put product that meets specifications in box or gaylord.
4. Tape, label, and stack boxes on pallets for material handler pickup.
5. Housekeeping of packing station and line area.
6. Maintain all safety policies and guidelines.
7. Follow all Good Manufacturing Policies.
8. Assist operator whenever needed in start up or shut down of the line.
9. Must be able to keep up with fast pace machines to meet productivity goals.
10. Must communicate with operators and leaders.
11. Must maintain good attendance and dependability.
12. Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
13. Other duties as assigned by a group leader, supervisor, or manager of the division.

6. Must be able to maintain speed on all production/packaging lines and perform essential duties and responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and training with Work Keys Career Readiness Certification; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and work instructions.
MATH ABILITY
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Minimal computer skills required. Need ability to access documents located on an in-house computer system.
